I usually leave a message of happiness but unfortunately, this time the Arby's I visited did not meet the standards I expected. First I downloaded the app and ordered two Ruben meals with curly fries and drinks. I figured because I ordered online, I could quickly pull up, grab my meals and drive home to my family to eat.
When I arrived the electrical drive thru menu was blank and dark. I assumed it was not working. I waited and waited and waited. Soon a car showed up behind me. We both waited. When I spoke to say hello, a voice spoke back sharply with, "I'll be with you in a minute." Overall, I waited about 6 to 8 minutes before I spoke to someone.
When I told the employee that I was there to pick up my order, they told me that I have to "come inside" to get it. I didn't argue and drove around and parked, went inside and absolutely no one greeted me. Just some guy was standing at the front, behind the counter and staring. I assumed my order was the crumpled bag at the front counter. I undid the sticker and checked the food. It was the correct order. There was no carrier for the drinks that I had to walk across the parking lot to my car with. The fries were cold and hard. The Reuben sandwich was thin and not satisfying.
Most of the time Arby's is a great place to eat at. I have gone to other Arby's in Matthews or other locations and the service is excellent and the food is delicious. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to go to the university location as the workers there pretty much don't care about the service or food they provide. Save your money, this place isn't worth your dime.
Oh, and if a worker happens to read this message, please be aware that AI will soon be implemented and all of you ungrateful people that hate your jobs, soon won't have one. I personally, will be glad to see...
Read moreI have a craving this past Friday and decided to make a special trip to an Arby's near me. Little did I know and at this University location drive thru, the guy who is taking my order told me that there are only two Cherry Turnovers left on the shelf. I than ask him how long will it be if I wait for some. He said it would be an hour through the intercom. Well since I have time to spare, I told him I will come inside and wait for some. So I went inside and saw there are six Cherry Turnovers on the shelf and that he had lied to me in my face I than got madder and madder. I than order ten fresh made turnovers and ask the cashier how long will true others take he than told me its going to be a 30 minute wait. I told him that's fine, I will wait for it. As I waited for 30 minutes and didn't know that they only made four fresh Turnovers for me, decided that would be my only time visit at this location. However during the 30 minute wait, I saw other customers orders begin to mess up One had order Roast Beef with double meat and they only gave the guy single meat where the guy brought the food back and they took the sandwich back to the kitchen and out on more meat. Than another order a large orange shake and they made a small shake. So the same staff took it back and dump the little shake into a large cup and filled it up with the rest of the shake and more whip cream. Also food was everywhere on the floor in the kitchen area and nothing was being cleaned. These type of work is unexceptable in the restaurant industry. If I was the Health Department and seen this behavior there would be a fine to the store and close...
Read moreHere's my story. I showed up in my work van which is too tall for the drive through. Their store says dining room is open on both doors and the front window, but after trying the back door and circling around d to try the front one a guy came out on his break and said the dining room was closed. I told him my van was too tall and he told me I could order over "there" and pointed in a general direction that could have been the window or the kiosk. I tried the kiosk first to establish my place in line. I called out to them an embarassing amount of times with no answer. It got to the point where I overheard the people in the car behind me wondering out loud if they were closed. I assured them it wasn't because There was a car in front of me waiting so I told the car behind me in was gonna just order at the window. THE SECOND I stepped forward and the car behind me pulled forward the lady on the headset started taking THEIR order. I waited behind the one car in front of me for waaay too long and finally placed my order. They asked me where my van was parked and I told them it was around the back and they said they'd bring it out which I appreciated. They did what they said they would and my order was correct but without any utensils for loaded fries which definitely requires them.
Arby's has good food so I was not dissatisfied on that end.
All in all they barely saved this from being a 1 or 2 star review and that's just because I'm very hesitant to give those out. They screwed up a lot but I've seen...
