5 stars for the short, slimmer guy, with the glasses āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø
It was my first time trying the food at this food trailer located in a parking lot at a busy intersection. My mom told me about it and she wanted me to try it.
It was raining the evening we went. After initially ordering the rice and falafel, I sat in the vehicle and waited for our food to be prepared. A few minutes into waiting, I decided Iād rather try both the falafel and chicken, and went to ask if they would accommodate a half & half plate instead. (There was a nice amount of people waiting at the time, both at the trailer and inside their vehicles).
The overweight guy, with the receding hairline immediately saysā itās already done.ā ONLY because he wasnāt willing to make accommodations to me. Which was a big FAT LIE. The other guy quickly intervened, asked for my request, and said he would do it, no problem! Thank you to that guy!!
Iām glad that he did honor my request, because I did not enjoy the falafel and would not order it again. Letās just say, Iāve had better. But, the food was fresh, made to order, so you canāt beat that. The pricing was fair too.
I also own/operate a QSR. Itās never an issue making special request for people, because the likelihood of me going out of my way far outweighs any possible negative feedback. Bottomline, take care of your customers, and they just may become repeat customers to...

That time you didn't ask the customer if he needed hot sauce not what changed now ? Do not tell me people found it spicy etc. If someone asks for hot sauce all he had to do was reach the cart 2 feet away and give the hot sauce bottles...And then incident when I asked for hot sauce there was literally no one ordering so it was not like since there was a rush he wanted me to tell before..He was wantedly rude. These are 2 incidents I remember off my head..There have been more which I don't remember which is why I am writing such a long comment..Don't get me wrong I love the food here which is why I keep coming back..which is why I don't want to be greeted by such...

Iāve tried spots in San Jose and San Francisco, thinking I had tasted the best. But nothingāI mean NOTHINGācompares to this small but mighty food cart in University Place, Charlotte.
The Philly? My go-to. The chicken over rice? Unreal. The sauces? Oh my god, NEXT LEVEL. That creamy, dreamy white sauce? and the spicy sizzling red sauce ? Unmatched. Every bite bursts with flavor, making every meal here feel like a feast.
And letās talk about the people. Mr. T and Mr. K arenāt just food vendors; theyāre family now. Their kindness, their warmth, the way they remember your order, customize it just how you like, and even ask for feedback to make it betterāthatās something special. And then thereās Mr. Tamoor, the ownerāan absolute gem of a human.
This isnāt just the best halal in CharlotteāIād say itās one of the best in the entire U.S. If you havenāt tried it yet, youāre seriously...
