I go here at least twice a month and get the same thing every time. Aron con Pollo and that’s how I order it when I call in. Every single time I have done this in the past they ask if I want the lunch or dinner special. Today when I call in which was around 11:20 am the person didn’t ask me but i figured they were just busy since today is Valentines Day and about to be lunch time. I get there and the cost was way higher than usual and I mentioned that it might have been the dinner one since they didn’t ask me, but still it wasn’t even noon yet so why would I order the dinner? I wasn’t mad or anything at that point and just let the lady know, who I’m pretty sure was a manager because she’s always there when I come in and just looks like she runs the place, and she said I should have told them I wanted the lunch special. Me, still not upset, explained that I’ve always been asked so I didn’t know I had to tell them. She then kept arguing with me that if it’s a lunch special I have to tell them going as far as flipping out a menu to make sure I can read it was on the lunch special list because they have a lot of employees. It went back and forth a few times but I just decided it wasn’t worth making myself look foolish in public to prove a point. Number one I should not have to defend myself especially since I wasn’t making a fuss about it getting messed up and me having to wait and number two she sees me in there all the time so why are you being condescending to a regular customer? I left after having to wait five minutes for them to fix my food portion. While eating I found what looked to be a large twisted staple in my food and had to stop eating of course.....what?! So now a restaurant that I enjoyed has lost my business because of a rude employee and the fact that a piece of metal that would have caused me harm some how made it’s way...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years and haven’t ever had any issues. Today, my dad and I came there for lunch. I got the lunch Chimichanga—$11.50 for beef or chicken—but I wanted steak. The server did say it would be an extra charge, which I agreed to, thinking it would be $3–$5 extra. Then I get my bill and I’ve been charged $11 for steak. I was going to just pay it, but in my opinion, it wasn’t right.
Then to see three servers huddled up talking, including mine, and one looked over and laughed… So I spoke to the manager, who then showed me another Chimichanga for $23, saying that’s the one I was charged for. Although it came with several extra little sides that I didn’t get, I was still charged for it.
I will not be returning. Had I not said anything, I would’ve been charged for a whole additional meal without receiving additional food. There should be a clear dollar amount listed, or you should be told exactly how much extra you’ll be charged.
When I go out to eat, I don’t try to get over on the restaurant, and I don’t like to be taken advantage of either. The manager did give me a refund and asked how much the steak should’ve been. I said usually around a $3 difference. He made it right—I just didn’t appreciate having to go...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for many years, i love their food and drinks. However, tonight wasn’t the best. Me and my friend both saw a promotion on the screen for margaritas. It didn’t specify anything, all it said was that the margaritas were $6.95 ALL DAY. We ordered 2 mango top shelf margaritas, to take advantage of this awesome deal. Once we got our checks, we noticed that we paid $12.60 for each margarita. We told the server and he said it was only for the house margarita. I told him it didn’t say that and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. I asked for the manager and he proceeded to tell me that i should’ve paid attention and that it was my fault but nothing was specified in the advertisement. I told him that it just said “margaritas for $6.95” and he said that nobody ever complains about this. I told him I’m not worried about other people not noticing that they’re paying more. I told him it should be specified and that i would like the money that i was overcharged for back. He said that couldn’t happen. So we literally paid double the price for...
