I usually like Buffalo Wild Wings for the great wing sauces, beer, sports, you know what they offer. This location at Northlake is far below the standards of other locations. I've had 2 bad experiences, one with carry out and last night with dining in. My carry out experience: I called Buffalo Wild Wings and was put on hold immediately. I assumed they were really busy. The girl didn't get back on the phone for 5-6 minutes and said "buffalo wild wings can you hold please?" This time I said "I've been holding to place a Togo order." And she said "okay just one moment." So I assumed she was getting the Togo person. Another 5 minutes or so goes by and I get irritated and hang up to call back. In the meantime my husband was on his way to pick up the good after work. So on my second time calling I get the same girl and she says the same thing "buffalo wild wings can you hold please?" Getting increasingly irritated, I waited again. Another 3-4 minutes goes by and when she answers the phone again and asks me to hold I say "no I need to speak to your manager please." The manager gets on the phone and I explained to her I had been trying to place a Togo order for about 15 minutes. She offered to take my order but by that time my husband was at the restaurant and ordered himself. The manager on the phone was extremely friendly and tried to resolve the issue. She even asked what we ordered and met up with my husband at the front to ensure that his order was placed and she gave him several coupons. Of course when he got home (which is about a 6 minutes drive) the wings were cold and crunchy like they had been sitting out for hours. Needless to say we were disappointment and annoyed but it stuff like that happens in restaurants all the time. I get it. Our dining experience: My husband and I were craving some wings and of course we wanted to give Buffalo Wild Wings another shot. I do like their wings quite a bit when they're fresh! So it was around 10pm on a Sunday night. They close at 12am. Our server was very nice, we ordered wings of course and don't you know they come out room temperature again! I've worked in a restaurant for 11 years. I'm pretty sure they cook wings ahead of time and just keep them under a heat lamp and toss some sauce on them. Well these wings tasted like they were out all day. So dry, hard, and unbelievable crunchy. These wings are usually supposed to be hot, fresh and tender. Disappointed again and frustrated. The restaurant I work in makes your food when the server puts the order in. You should not have pre made food that's old and cold and be comfortable serving that to customers knowing it tastes horrible. Needless to say we will not be returning to this location ever day. I love BWW but this location needs some help. Again the staff is great! Kitchen...
Read moreWe have had issues with the slow service at this restaurant several times over the last couple of years. However, it does not appear to be getting any better...
We went here in January 2020 for my daughter's birthday and the service was exceptionally slow (the restaurant was almost empty). Our server was not very attentive and some things she did not make sense (for example: lemons added to soda, but not to the water). When our food finally arrived the order was not correct. They no longer have the buzztime tablets that our kid likes. We have done both dine-in and carryout from BW3 for many years. Now that the boneless Thursday deal changed to dine-in only, combined with the poor service and changes inside.. none of us had any desire to go back.
My birthday was in March and my sister-in-law sent me a gift card for BW3 (she knows that our family generally likes the restaurant). Despite our earlier experiences with this location, we decided to give it another go (it is the closest location to our house). We ordered the boneless wings promotion on Thursday (takeout due to the virus). The order was in a plastic bag with tape over the top. I looked and saw that I had the correct number of boxes, but I could not verify the contents of the box in the restaurant because of the tape over the top of the bag. When we got home.... order was wrong (the receipt taped to the bag was correct). We ended up with some boneless wings and some bone in wings and the quantity was not right either. To make matters worse, the little cups of ranch dip that we were provided were less than 1/4 full (and yes we paid extra for some of them) and we had maybe a teaspoon of dip in each cup. We could have easily combined the dip in 8 of these cups into 2 cups.
I am not sure what is going on at this restaurant... but with restaurants struggling to stay open I would think this restaurant would do everything they can to keep customers coming back. Making sure orders are correct and delivering what is ordered should be a very basic service. If we go back to Buffalo Wild Wings again, it certainly will not be...
Read moreI was not pleased with my recent visit to this location.
The experience began when I walked in and asked if I could sit at the bar, but I was told it was closed, despite there being people sitting at the bar. I went and got a table in the main dining room instead.
While sitting there, I noticed all of the tvâs (except for maybe 2 small ones) were all playing the same game. This was the college football championship week, so I was excited to watch a lot of good games at a sports bar no less who should be playing more than one game. So I asked my server if they could change at least 1 or 2 of the games to another game so I could watch both. The server went and got somebody who could help me. When that person came out, I was told the game I wanted to watch hasnât started yet. I informed them that the game was indeed on and in the 2nd quarter. The employee then walked back to what I assumed the area where the remotes are for staff to change the channel. This person returned and told me they could only change one of the tvâs, it was a tv that was behind me so I had to move seats next to my friend who I was sitting with so we could both face that tv. I find it hard to believe that was the only tv that could change.
My party was not checked on a whole lot which wouldâve been understandable if the restaurant had been heavily populated, but it was not. It took a while to get the attention of a server who was not even ours to get silverware for our food. To end the whole experience, me and my friendâs bill had our items mixed up. We were so fed up, we just paid our bill and payed each other the difference later.
The food was good but I cannot justify coming to this restaurant to watch a big game because I would like to 1. Not feel like Iâm burdening the staff by asking to watch a game at a sports bar and 2. Pay for the right food and drink without having to go fix it at...
