Last night I went into this Dollar Tree looking for Wylers Blueberry Lemonade packets to go into baskets I was making for kids. I have looked at every Dollar Tree from Delaware down to South Carolina and could never find it. I lucked up and saw they had one box left. I got to the store an hour before closing FYI and asked the "manager" Kelly which is probably not the right name as she was not wearing a name tag to check for me to see if they had more in the back. She said that they probably did but even if they did she wouldn't be able to go to the back to actually get it for me because it was "a mess back there". She scanned the box and said that they had 5 cases. I asked her again I would like to buy them could you please try to go back there and get them for me. She responds "there are 2500 boxes back there it would be impossible for me to go back and get it". I stood there astonished at her attitude, I've never been to a store where they had a product a customer wanted but refused to go back and get the product. I guarantee you Walmart, Dollar General, any reputable store wouldn't have done that. To add insult to injury she was doing nothing but eating at the front of the store. She had the worst attitude and I left empty handed. I live close to the SC border and this store is a good 40 to 45 mins away. I would have to drive back over there in hopes that someone would be "nice enough" to go to the back and actually get the product for me. Worst experience ever at a Dollar Tree and I'm extremely disappointed at the people they choose to hire...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe manager at the 9717 Northlake Centre location is Mr. Jonathan. He manages a fine team and the store is well stocked and maintained every time Iāve been there. The team is polite and efficient. One gentleman is always especially warm in greeting his customers. I recently visited the store for 1-inch binders and asked a young gentleman on the floor if he expected to have enough in stock so I could purchase 105 binders in three different colors for my classroom. With a professional attitude and without hesitation, he consulted his shipment invoice to determine how many binders he should be receiving. During my short wait I noticed that he was actively multitasking: answering other customersā questions and directing them to the appropriate aisles to find their items. He informed me that he may not have enough to satisfy my needs from his stock but that he would check with another manager to see how many were available in her store. I then discovered that he was the store manager. Mr. Jonathan collaborated with Ms. Roslyn from the Mallard Creek/WT Harris store to fill my order. I was so impressed with this young managerās problem-solving skills and professionalism that I attempted to give him a tip. He flatly refused, politely stating that that was not necessary. It is my hope that the corporate office recognizes and appropriately rewards these hands-on managers for their integrity and for consistently delivering exceptional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate THIS location. Always long lines because they employee some of the most unprofessional young females. They are rude with you often times texting and holding side conversations that make them move even slower. Go to another location if you value your time and peace. The cashier today was extremely rude and tested my patience. After watching her move at a snails pace nd listening to the people behind me complain as well I told her I was on my lunch break as she held side conversations about schedules with other employees she seemed to deliberately move even slower and even sent some text messages in the middle of my transaction. As im waiting to hand her pen and copy of her reciept she ignores me and starts ringing the next person and the days to me you good while im handing the reciept with my signature. So she was just gone refuse to take the reciept from me. Now the grown woman in me told her I was about to lose my temper. It would not be a loss if they shut this store down until they can find...
