Chex Grill & Wings — Restaurant in Charlotte

Since this place opened we've ordered a few times. I love the variety of wing sauces, and have tried to order something different each time. I've yet to find one I don't like. Sparkys was great in every heat level, and I'm quite partial to the honey bbq and Cajun ranch. The cheesesteak is absolutely delicious, and probably more than enough for one person but I never have anything left to save. My wife usually gets the jerk chicken sandwich and it is phenomenal. A little heat that lingers but it's full of flavor and texture. I tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich last time and I think it will be my new go to. A side of fries is more than enough for two people, the box was way more than we needed. Fried pickle spears were delicious, I've yet to try the mushrooms but they're next on my list. All in all I have no complaints, but I will say the bone in wings turned out better than the boneless, at least when delivered. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone who wants an affordable, quick to order and receive, and absolutely delicious meal. Honestly, now I want to order again just...

Let's start by saying this is a place my son visits about 2 to 3 times a week, so it was a recommendation by him. Sunday was my last time visiting this establishment. We walked in and placed our order. The young lady greeted us upon walking through the door, which was a plus for me. Where it took a turn for the worst for me was when we went back in to retrieve our order after 20 minutes, which wasn't ready. we were still waiting for the fries to be done. The lady working the front went to the back to get our lemonade. When entering the back, she left the swinging door open( well, I just don't think it closed behind her). With that being said, there was a gentleman standing at the hand washing sink proceeds to take his shoe and sock off and then proceeds to hand washing his foot in the sink. In total disbelief, I'm telling my husband to look at this guy washing his feet in the damn sink. I'm not sure who the owner or manager is, but they need to run them cameras back, and the guy needs to be fired. IMMEDIATELY. Never have to worry about us...

I truly have always enjoyed the food from Chex. I’ve always called in and ran in to pick up my order. Well Friday their phone wasn’t working when I called so I had to go in to order and as I waited I saw so many unsanitary things that I’m going to have to stop my weekly orders which makes me sad. The girl that took my order rubbed her eye multiple times and continued putting my order in on the same IPad that I had to touch and sign which is highly unsanitary. As soon as the order was placed she went over to the table where they prepped orders and started bagging food and opening boxes of food to confirm orders. She packed French fries and all without washing or sanitizing hands. No gloves in site outside of the cooks. The other young ladies prepping bags of food had long braids that she kept touch because they kept getting in her way.
