This place has been around for years. I don't know the owner or if he is the same owner from years back but he is the most rudest person and does not care about customers. I guess he has so much business that if there is a problem with a customer he defends the restaurant and pretty much calls you a liar because "I had 300 takeout orders last Saturday and did not receive one complaint"....I called last Saturday to complain about bad packaging of our takeout food, which I spent over $30. Owner was busy. So I was going to order another big takeout this morning but after speaking to him and he didn't care if I was lost as a customer, it was obvious this cafe has too much money coming in to care if they mess up orders, owe people for missing food, or be the rudest people on earth. I was astonished and actually did not know what to say. He kept asking, "Do you want to order food or what" and "I check everything that goes out of here and it's clean". (These are just a couple comments he stated) I've only met and spoke with one narcissist in my life and this owner is definitely the second. My husband sat next to me and he was shocked that I was spoke to in that manner with an, I don't give a s#&! attitude. I will never ever go back and spend my hard earned money for this guy to make a profit on me. In actuality, he does not care anyway because his employees and himself does not do wrong and the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG!!!! I suggest if you want good food, can chance your food being wrong or bad, and you will not call and complain ..eat here. If you want to be respected for your patronage, don't step foot through the door. You are nothing to this owner. I guess that's why everyone is so rude and is careless. I've spoke to 5 of my family and friends that do business there, they're definitely finding another restaurant to do business with and told me to definitely post my experience. (Will try out Circle G and Stockyard Restaurants down the street.) Thats about $800 per month this owner just lost starting today. What in the world has happened to customer service in...
Read moreDecided to Google and search for local business outside of the chain commercial stores. So I find shuffletown Drive Inn to be in range. The theme of the diner is awesome but however I didn't feel welcome at at all. I decided to be a gentleman and let a few customers skip me to pay for the meals. The young innocent lady at the register I'm sure only performs based off of how she's trained. Knowing that you stop serving breakfast at 12 and me being a gentleman/ new customer to allow your customers to go ahead and pay to make space in a small place, the time now is 12 p.m. When I was finally acknowledged for my order to placed young lady ask her co-workers if they were still serving breakfast. One of the Season waitresses Speedpass to mention that the gentleman right in front of me was the last breakfast order. Now where I'm from good customer service says if it's 12 or even 12:05, honor the customers that were already in line. I'm sure there was some breakfast still lingering around. I simply smiled and thanked the young lady. Again I guess I wasn't...
Read moreWhat was my favorite place for breakfast has gone to pot. Two weekend in a row I have called in orders only to get home without a correct order. Two weekends ago, I orders 4 plates that included a veggie omlet and hash browns...no omlet yet there were pancakes that I did not order. This weekend a 4 plate order...no veggie omlet and hash browns. I think someone is really enjoying my order. On my last visit I mentioned the mistake that came two weekends ago and asked that they check my order before I left. Everything was confirmed with the young man there. I decided to return the extra special for an exchange for the veggie omlet. They were nice but unable to help because the grill had changed to their lunch specials...they did offer a hamburger...too bad my sister in law is a vegan. I left the wrong order with them and left. I feel it will be better to visit another eatery in the future. Dine in, I am sure it will be fine, beware for call in...
