I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Chili's that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, the visit was marred by poor service. Our server did not introduce herself, making the interaction feel impersonal right from the start.
As she approached our table to take our drink orders, her demeanor was uninviting and downright rude. She carelessly threw the silverware onto the table, which clattered loudly, setting a negative tone for our visit. Rolling her eyes while speaking to us only added to the discomfort, and it was evident that she lacked the professionalism expected in a service role.
To make matters worse, while we waited for our drinks, we noticed our server sitting at the bar, seemingly indifferent to her responsibilities. In a rather shocking display, she asked another server to bring us our drinks instead of attending to us herself. This lack of attentiveness and care was incredibly frustrating and left us feeling neglected.
My niece ordered chocolate milk, and unfortunately, she instantly got sick after drinking it. This led to an unexpected emergency room visit that night, which was distressing for all of us. The combination of a rude server and the incident with my niece made for a very upsetting evening.
I firmly believe that such a nasty attitude has no place in any establishment, especially one that serves families. After receiving our drinks, we decided it was best to leave. We paid for our drinks and exited, feeling disappointed and worried about my niece's health. With so many restaurants in the area that prioritize customer service and safety, it’s hard to justify returning to a place where we felt so undervalued and where our experience turned so negative.
I would not recommend this Chili's location to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. There are certainly better options available, especially...
Read moreWe normally come here in date nights and sometimes we get our food and drinks on time other times we don’t. We went to drink and have some apps to share this last time and the service was so poor that we were waiting for like 20 minutes to get our chips and salsa, and our drinks. The bartender called another waiter a name. Was talking around and flirting with people around the bar instead of making our drinks. Then when we got our first round it was okay, then we had to wait another 20 minutes to even see our waiter and then it took another 20 to get our other drinks. And it was so awful. I always get the tropical sunrise and it was just so bitter with the juice they put in it that I couldn’t drink it. And the manger basically said oh well when we talked to him about it. There was no alochol in it what’s so ever. I love the food but never going back. Can’t belive they treated us the way they did and their...
Read moreLong time customer at Chilli's at Blakney. However, tonight I cannot even post a review of the experience as we left. My son and I waited 30 minutes for a table with a family of 4 next to us while we both counted 4 high tops and 3 booth tables open, cleaned and ready for patrons. Not sure if it was a lack of wait staff or the seemingly 16 year old running the front desk. Either way, having widely apparent open tables on a Friday night with an excessive wait seems a bit ridiculous. If it was a full house, I have no issue waiting but with clearly open tables in both the bar and restaurant area while being told I shoud download the Chilli's app to see my place in line seems a bit much. We ended up making the drive over to Duckworth's where we were seated immediately and had our Chicken Philly and drinks within 20 minutes of arriving. Love Chilli's but if this is the norm, there are plenty of alternatives...
