So I have been going to Starbucks since I was in high school (2002) and I've never had a bad experience until tonight. My boyfriend, who is from India, and I went ordered from the drive through and I got my usual vanilla cappuccino. Abhi was in the driver's seat and was the one to take the drinks from Joshua who was at the window. I've always known Starbucks service and store cleanliness to be top notch, but this is the only one in Charlotte I have been to that has a 95% food inspection rating and it just opened. The other ones I've been to are at 98% and above. Regardless, Joshua handed us our drinks, mine first. After taking it, I could tell that it felt noticeably light. It was as if, it wasn't filled all the way. Indeed, I opened it and stuck my finger in while they were working on Abhi's drink and it was only 75% full. I hate confrontation when it comes to food service and I ask Abhi if he would just ask Josh to fill it. Now, again, I've never had any/this problem with Starbucks before, so I thought that they would simply take the drink and correct the problem as the store was not busy in the slightest, being Easter night. Unfortunately Josh decided to inform Abhi, without even taking the drink back to inspect it, that "that's how cappuccinos are made, with foam." He didn't offer to fix it, or even look at it. Abhi informed him, however, that it was only 3/4ths full. Again, Josh repeated himself and I decided we needed to shut up about it. I know better than to mess with people making your food. While placing my order everything was going fine until I had to switch the milk on the first drink that was in my order. On my second drink I also asked for whipped cream to be on top. The barista Lukas was void of having a warm and inviting demeanor, even through the drive thru speaker. Once I pulled around to the window to pay the service given by Lukas did not improve! While giving my drinks to me I noticed one of them(the second one) was missing whipped cream on top. I politely notified Lukas about the whipped cream missing on the second drink his response was āWell did you ask for whipped cream?ā This in my opinion was a very unprofessional response. Seeing that I did ask for whipped cream to come on the drink. I feel this experience would have been different if Lukas may have presented better customer service because this is quite honestly the least pleasant experience Iāve ever received. Also to note I myself am a Starbucks barista and the customer connection was a zero. Also I am aware of how a barista should interact with customers in drive or in store. When letting Lukas know of my partner numbers that interaction was also displeasing. As a barista myself and seeing the service Lukas provided it makes me upset seeing that I may not be the only customer Lukas may be interacting this way with. Hopefully his customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo the day before thanksgiving I stopped and got a Coffee and breakfast sandwiches for me and my boyfriend they forgot to give me my sandwich ( no big deal ) so I called them and asked what we could do and they said next time I came there to let them know and theyād give it to me we had a 10hr trip home to pa for the holidays so I couldnāt go back that day or the next few days because I was away. I came back today ( 10 days after ) and told her the situation and said it happened about two weeks ago and she said very rudely ā two weeks ago like really ? ā and I started to talk and she cut me off and continued to give me attitude saying sheād do it this time and then when we got to the window she told us 3 days is their policy and i apologized explaining to her i was told ā next time I stop in ā nothing was mentioned about 3 days to me. Once I drove away I took a bite of my sandwich and it was cold, they didnāt even warm my sandwich for me because apparently itās my fault they forgot to give me my sandwich and I wanted either a refund or another sandwich. LOL long story short I will never go back to that...
