A Sweet Slice of Heaven â Dolce & Amaro Delivers Perfection
If thereâs one place in town that feels like a warm hug wrapped in the scent of fresh-baked pastries, itâs Dolce & Amaro. From the moment you walk through the door, youâre greeted by the rich aroma of buttery croissants, delicate vanilla, and just a hint of espresso â a sensory preview of the magic to come.
Every item behind the glass is a work of art. The pastries are not only visually stunning but consistently fresh, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Their almond croissants are hands down the best Iâve had â crisp on the outside, tender within, with a generous almond filling that somehow feels indulgent and balanced all at once.
Their cakes are where this place truly shines. Whether itâs a classic tiramisu, a pistachio mousse dome, or one of their rotating seasonal specials, each dessert showcases incredible attention to detail, balanced sweetness, and rich, layered flavors. Itâs clear the bakers here donât just follow recipes â they tell stories through sugar and flour.
The staff is kind, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Theyâll happily explain ingredients, make recommendations, or even help you pair the perfect pastry with a coffee or tea.
Dolce & Amaro isnât just a bakery â itâs an experience, one that elevates the everyday treat into something memorable. Whether youâre grabbing a morning croissant or picking up an elegant dessert for a special occasion, this little gem never disappoints. Five stars,...
Read moreGot the blue butterfly matcha. There is no matcha. Theyâre calling powdered blue butterfly pea matcha, which is in fact just a marketing gimmick. Itâs not real matcha. I basically paid $6 for blue milk. Tried telling cashier and owner and they dismissed me and said I donât know what Iâm talking about.
Edit to add: crazy that they are doubling down again in the response that it is matcha. It contains no green tea and should never be called matcha. Maybe do your research properly before trying to sail on the matcha trend for profit. A quick google search will tell you. I did order this drink before and whoever made it previously did add both matcha and blue butterfly pea. That is why I wanted to order it again but they insist that it was never served that way. Which is fine, maybe whoever served me that day just knew the difference and actually made a blue butterfly pea matcha latte properly. Not a blue butterfly pea latte. Do your research and rename the item on the menu if you are about honest and care because doubling down that it is matcha is the opposite. I also want to add that they can speak Spanish and was talking about me right in front of me too.
Edit to add again because if they are about honest and care then donât put the biscotti sign in front of...
Read moreI came, I saw, I got laughed at. I know what you might be thinking - wow thatâs an intense start to a review⌠but it was true nonetheless. I came with my 8yo daughter and realized itâs replaced pepper box. I thought that was a good sign. There werenât a lot of options (tarts, lobster tails, cookies) so I was looking for a happy medium for us while my daughterâs eyes were bigger than her head. Meanwhile a guy behind the counter eyed me and spoke in Spanish which I donât think he realized I knew. It was a simple question because I gave a dessert the wrong name. His female coworker answered and they waited for us as we kept looking. Then as I spoke to my daughter they broke out in laughter without saying a word. The kind of laughter middle school girls break into when theyâre being âŚmiddle school girls.
So we left. When you go just make sure youâre not looking...
