Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Charlotte

I was told the pizza and wings I ordered would arrive in an hour. That already sounded pretty disappointing as I'm pregnant with a broken down car and was already hungry when I placed the order, but I decided to turn on my radio and do chores to kill some time. In doing so I totally missed the pizza man because he actually arrived in just 30 minutes and I didn't hear him knocking. I was checking my door with my radio off around 45 minutes after I placed the order. After an hour wait I checked my phone and saw two missed calls from the delivery man 30 minutes after I placed the order. I realized I had missed him. I called the store and explained to the manager what happened. I wasnt angry or trying to get a discount. I was simply hungry. I explained I was also pregnant with a broken down car. I was told they could remake the order and resend it, but once again he said that it would take an hour. I told the manager I could just walk to 7 11. He said just do that. Forget trying to be nice. He could just try to be accurate about the wait time. I feel like he always says its gonna take one hour so no one will ever complain if once in a while it actually takes an hour, but it never actually takes an hour. They're always fast. Horrible experience, listen to the reviews that tell you do not come here! Waited almost 2 hours on an order said driver left the store at 11:25 but he arrives at 12:26 ( I live about 4-5 mins away from the location) knocking on my door saying an order was not paid for when I show evidence it has been. Just shook his shoulders and walked away. And I never got a call from the store before hand saying it didn’t go through which they usually are supposed to do in case people do not carry cash, I thought this was common sense rather than to show up on someone’s doorstep with food they can only use a card for! But I guess not. I call the store maybe 12 times until someone finally picked up. She seemed clueless as to how to give me a resolution acted confused when I told her the money came out of my card and maybe when it might be back, such a disappointing experience will definitely not be returning here again. Very slow to deliver as well, I ordered ahead of time the day before and to be delivered by 11:00 only to have him arrive at 12:30, absolute madness. And the trackers are pointless! Why say you left the store 30 freaking minutes ago! When it took an hour and a half to get here. Please get better staff...

I have been ordering online with the Dominos app for several years with fairly good service. Tonight, however, after ordering the Tracker indicated that my pizza had passed the quality check. Naturally, I assumed it was out for delivery. An hour later I called the store and was told by a new manager (who it just so happens was extremely helpful) that my address was not in their delivery area. After telling her I had ordered through the app she apologized profusely and tried to make things right. Meanwhile, I could hear another person in the background arguing with her and repeatedly making the point that their store does not deliver to my address. The young lady with whom I had been speaking apologized again for the rudeness of her coworker and for the fact that no one even bothered to notify me that they were throwing away the food I ordered and were, I assume, simply pretend the order never existed.
