I’ve been a loyal customer of Domino's for quite some time, but after my most recent experience, I feel compelled to warn others about their handling of orders and customer service.
I decided to place an order online, and as usual, the payment went through without issue. However, the food never arrived. I made sure to check if the delivery had mistakenly gone to the wrong address— it hadn't. I’m a frequent customer, so they definitely have my correct information on file and been to my house multiple times. They call me when they have any problems. What followed was a nightmare of terrible service.
I tried contacting Domino's multiple times over the phone, only to be placed on hold for long periods and then disconnected three or more times (on purpose. I could hear noises in the background over the line disconnecting the phone as soon as they answer it). They clearly knew why I was calling, but made no effort to address the problem. It seemed like they were deliberately avoiding my calls, which was incredibly frustrating.
Finally, I tried calling from a new phone number, and surprise—they answered it (they first didnt answer thinking i was the same number as before and treated me the same, until they finally figured I was someone else). It was obvious they thought it wasn’t me. After explaining the situation once again, they had the nerve to claim my order was 'completed' and 'delivered,' which was completely false. They also played dumb and didnt understand what my address was and played dumb with me. They 'cancelled' my order after I pressed the issue, I recieved an email later. Their attempt to lie about my order and keep my money felt deliberate and dishonest.
I’m now waiting 3-5 days for my refund, but I’m still skeptical given their behavior. It’s shocking that a company as large as Domino's would resort to such deceptive tactics, especially with loyal customers. If you’re thinking about ordering from Domino's, beware of the possibility that they could take your money, fail to deliver, and then avoid dealing with your complaints.
This isn’t just bad service—it feels like an intentional scam. I would seriously advise against ordering from them, as their customer service and accountability are at an all-time low.
DONT TAKE A CHANCE AND ORDER FROM THIS SCAMMING...
Read more9/18/12 I ordered this pizza and pasta at around 8:30 pm for my dad who was at home. I left my house for a while expecting the pizza to be placed where I asked it to be placed when I came home (Ordered and tipped online). I got back at around 10:10 pm just to find out it wasn't even delivered. The pizza was checked at 8:55 and still not out for delivery. Next I call the store and I am met with a 15 minute hold (I don't remember who picked up the phone). I asked "will my pizza be out anytime soon? I ordered about an hour and a half to 2 hours ago" and was told that it was the next one out. Okay cool, I then ask "will the pizza still be warm when it gets here?", and I am given the answer of "uhh.. yeah". The answer is obviously no, just tell me and don't lie to me, I know that the pizza has been sitting out for a while. No offers on anything, no apology, just a lie. The pizza and my side shows up, the driver hands me the order with no contact, I go inside. Its stone cold. It seemed like picking up and biting into a pizza the day after a birthday party. I have never written a review ever and I don't think I would have just because a pizza showed up cold and late. The reason I am writing this is because I was lied to over the phone about the pizza. Not cool to just say its going to be hot even though it shows up two hours later where now I have to watch it microwave for long enough that I think about writing a review. No apology as well, no "sorry for the inconvenience", no "we'll remake it", just a "okay... bye". I do not blame the driver at all, when he got the pizza he hauled to get to me so he did great. This is going to be the second. That should tell you how important YOUR order is to this location. Hear me when I say to choose another location or pizza place for delivery. We were in town staying at a hotel just 3 miles from this store. The first time we ordered, the pizza never arrived. We did not prepay, so no money lost. Tonight, we ordered from this location again (yes, I know - should have learned the lesson). TWO hours later, no pizza. We called them. They had delivered to room 110 rather than 401 (HOW do you even get those two numbers confused?!) They said they would send the driver back out with our order. Well, they did....an hour later. So a 20 min pizza and 3 mile drive took 3 hours to get a order to us?! BUT WAIT!! THERE'S MORE! The order was wrong! Instead of one large and one medium pizza plus breadsticks, we only got a medium pizza and breadsticks..for $20. Both the pizza and the breadsticks were cold. We called to tell the manager we wanted a partial refund not for the three hour delay but for the fact we did not get what we paid for. They refused, saying they would only give us a credit. We do not live here so will not be in the area long enough to use your credit. Your service sucks. Your orders arrive incorrect. WHY WOULD WE WANT TO CONTINUE DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU?! This place obviously has staffing issues that need to be addressed.
