I'm not one to leave bad reviews but our experience was, interesting, to say the least. I arrived and sat down at the bar, and wasn't greeted for over 15 mins. When our server finally greeted us I order a mimosa and she said "we ain't got that" so I proceeded to order a Bloody Mary and she said "we ain't got that either. All we got is sangria and lemonade." The chalkboard behind her had all of these drinks on it. I said "okay, so you don't have any vodka at all that you can free pour?" She said "we don't do that here." And I was slightly confused considering they had an entire cocktail menu. I ordered the lemonade because she said it had vodka in it, but it was premade and tasted like it didn't.
She came back to take our food order and my friend and I both ordered the BLTE with vegetable soup. She asked us if we wanted the whole thing or the half and half, and we were confused. On the menu it came as a whole sandwich with a soup or salad, but we said "sure we'll do the half and half"' she came back about 5 minutes later and said "the sandwich only comes one way and it's whole" and we said okay - again, confused why she gave us the option when we didn't ask for it and then took it away. Haha. Confusing.
Our food came out and my friends sandwich was cut in half and mine was not. They were both on cold non toasted bread, also confusing as it's a hot sandwich but again, not one to complain so we ate it. Sandwich was mediocre, and honestly that's being nice. The soup was good!
We weren't checked on after that. We asked for our check and she gave us the receipt and said we had to pay with Apple Pay or at the front and couldn't take our card - also fine no worries we paid with the QR code and left.
Overall it was a terrible experience. Do not...

I am a long time customer of First Watch and I must tell you how incredibly disappointed I was. I ordered the Morning Market Veg as a Frittata. I waited quite some time and I was okay with that, however, it came out w/none of the goat cheese that is suppose to be in it or either on top, it was very thin (their pancakes are thicker than the frittata I received), toast was harder than a crouton very dark, and the frittata was swimming in grease!
I politely ask my waiter if he could please have them remake it because it was unacceptable didn't have the right cheese in it and just very thin not the standard I'm use to with FW. He reordered the meal for me and when the 2nd order came out it was Way Worse than the 1st meal... It was literally burnt, barely any veggies, and still no goat cheese on it nor in it and more thin than the 1stš¤¦š».
I asked him for the manager. Manager named Naomi came out asked what was wrong, I quietly pointed to my plate she asked again what's wrong... I said Ma'am I think we both know this is unacceptable. š£ļø She said we short staffed... I told her being short staffed has Nothing to do with how you prepare the food for your customers. I told her if I'm waiting, at least the food can be prepared correctly. She asked if I wanted her to Now cook the food for a 3rd time š, I declined. At no point did she say I apologize for your burnt food twice not offered for me to return, nothing at all for the inconvenience of me not eating! Go to the Matthews location about 15mins from there because I've NEVER had a bad meal from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWatch out for this First Watch which has tarnished their brand due to poor service. When you bring out the pancakes or any dish you need to consolidate and bring everything required to start eating the dish like maple syrup for pancakes, or catsup and hot sauce for the potatoes and chickichanga. When they don't bring these things because they have the left hand not knowing what the right is doing with the server not connected with the food deliverer we have the customer guest held hostage for their meal not being ready to eat and getting cold. They are very slow at response times for napkins, maple syrup, not ever refreshing the coffee or locking the napkins up in a vault and making it very difficult to have napkins to keep the table clean or wipe your face while eating. The million dollar bacon was terrible. They need to bake the bacon with the sweet and pepper flakes to get a dry glaze not lazily dump honey all over the bacon and toss it on the table and think we the customer will think that it is a "million dollar" experience. It was a trailer trash experience thank you. OWNERS of FRANCHISE: Get your managers trained and train the staff to SERVE AND OBSERVE and be switched on. Even the server at the bar said "that's not my table" in regards to request for the missing maple syrup the server failed to bring. That was not the right answer. Deplorable for First Watch. They have...
