Not an Environment for Families With Young Children or Handicapped Children. Staff is Arrogant and Disrespectful
This Wingstop location is not suitable for families, especially those with young or handicapped children. The employees use loud profanity and show no respect for customers. When we arrived, we overheard individuals cursing outside and just assumed they were customers waiting for their orders. However, they entered the restaurant shortly after. One a young man in street clothes and the other, a woman who went behind the counter with him into the cooking area. After about 7 minutes, the young man left with bags of food. I tried to get assistance and asked if someone could help me. The woman who had been outside came to the counter, and with a rude tone, said, “What?” I asked how long it would take to prepare two 30-piece crew packs, explaining we had a handicapped grandson who needed a restroom. Her response was “AND?” I clarified that we needed to know if we had enough time to bring him and his mother home and come back, and her response was, “It’ll be done when it’s done.” Her arrogance only grew worse when she smugly suggested we “just go somewhere else.” This is exactly what we did. It wasn’t until later that we realized the rude employee was actually the manager. Your issue here is not only arrogant customer service but also a sanitary one as your employees were allowing non-staff members into the cooking area. My wife, son, daughter-in-law, and I will not return. It’s unfortunate as having a Wingstop in the area could have been convenient, but the unprofessionalism here especially in regards to a handicapped child made it clear we won’t be coming back. As a retired LEO I foresee the environment the staff is setting here. That along with no oversight and the behaviors of the staff this location will have police presence in no time. I rated the food 2 stars being we didn’t get to have it from this location and we went else where. Read moreThis evening I called to place an order and was put on hold, but no one ever came back. I called again and was told phone orders were available, but since I was already in the parking lot, I went inside instead.
When I arrived, I saw only two young ladies working, and they were clearly overwhelmed trying to answer phones, take orders, and handle pickups. They were doing their best, but it was a lot for just two people. While working, they had some personal conversations out loud, correcting one another and talking about another co-worker which all the customers could hear. In fact, one customer walked out, clearly upset
The most concerning part was that I watched one of the employees handle raw chicken with bare hands, no gloves, and put it into the fry basket. That really worried me from a food safety standpoint.
A third team member came in to work and spoke to the other two team members using profanity. Anyone with ears could hear what she said.
I understand they were understaffed and trying hard, but management really needs to provide better support and enforce proper food safety practices.
The place is certainly a popular location, since it opened. But it only takes consistent mismanagement, along with food safety issues to not only lose business but for the place to be closed down....

When we arrived at noon for pick up they informed us that since our order was sooooo big that it wouldn't be ready for another 25mins and that we should understand a large order takes time, just our order only was taking up all their fryers so we just needed to wait and maybe take that into consideration they next time we order a large order. The cashier was extremely condescending and rude about the entire situation. So after waiting an additional 25 minutes to pick up our food we thought the order would be correct and for the most part the wings were correct but we were supposed to get ranch and we received all blue cheese. When you're feeding a group of 20 and you have not received the right dips that are supposed to be paired with these wings it was a huge inconvenience.
