I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! On March 10th, 2022...The employees at this location during 9:50 PM were extremely unprofessional, & highly inappropriate (mind you the sign on their window says 10 PM, along with Google, lol). Being 10 hours out of state, I decided to bring my daughter over to this location for donuts before heading home,& boy was it a crazy mess! I have a video as evidence also.
But when I drove thru, I saw an employee whom didn't even tell me that they were closed. I drove around to the intercom/menu, waiting&waiting, while the employees inside did NOTHING to announce on the intercom that they were closed. A young guy pulling trash even came out,& saw me sitting there waiting at the menu, & DIDN'T say one word to tell me they were closed, etc. He walked right past, & went back inside the restaurant.
After no one bringing to my attention that they were closed BEFORE CLOSING TIME, I rode up to the drive-thru window to look inside,& I saw employees laughing& talking (probably laughing about how they were ignoring me at the drive-thru). I blew my horn,& finally a young lady with reddish-orangish hair came to the window& told me that they were closing early.
This whole time I was waiting & waiting at the intercom, & I had to come to the window& blow my horn to hear what they could've told me at the intercom, or when the guy was taking trash, etc. Closing early?
Alot can be done in 10mins, imagine being at wal-mart with one item to check out& the cashier walks away 10 mins early, imagine going to the clinic for JUST a prescription,&the dr leaves 10 mins early, imagine being on E &needing gas &station closes 10 mins early...shutting down before time is a reliability.
This is not southern hospitality; this is why real southerners don't call NC the South. This mess would've never happened somewhere like Mississippi or Louisiana where the food is actually hot in drive-thru, and people value their jobs. NC needs to get it together, and it's not just Krispy Kreme either, but I've never had this experience at a Krispy...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I come here frequently because we love krispy Kreme donuts. We usually go through the drive-thru, but we went inside this time because we both had a birthday reward, and we also wanted a dozen donuts. Rosemary was at the retail counter. The service we received from her was very rude.
Before even ordering, we told her we had a birthday promo and showed it to her through the app. I don't know if it was just me, but she was already visibly annoyed about our request. Since my girlfriend and I had two birthday promos, they had to be separate orders. To redeem the promos, Rosemary asked us for our phone numbers. She was so impatient about getting our numbers. When she asked for my girlfriend's number, my girlfriend didn't answer right away because she was trying to remember her old phone number since she had changed it. It was literally only two seconds later when Rosemary rudely told my girlfriend "look sweety, I need your number."
When she asked for my number, it did not go through successfully, so she asked for my number again. I was in the process of telling her that I could just scan my loyalty card from the app to make it easier, but she interrupted me and said "look, I'm not trying to be funny, I just need your number."
I'm not sure why she was rude and impatient with us. The store was not busy, so there was no rush. She could have just been having a bad day because I did see that she had on some type of brace for back support, and had a hard time walking. I feel sorry for her, but that does not mean you can be rude to paying customers who did absolutely nothing to you. I just wanted to come in and get some doughnuts. I'm not one to expect great service because I know how tiring the service industry can be, but her behavior was unacceptable and needs correcting. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location...
Read moreThe doughnuts and shake were Great for what I got . I went there during the time when the light was on for hot doughnuts and by the time I made to the window I was the fourth car and requested hot doughnuts the Cashier told Me there were no hot doughnuts left. I quest with the cars ahead of Me there were some complicated orders because of the time I waited in line .The cars I could see orders were not much at all . But just couldn't understand the longest of the wait . Wasn't many people in the store either. Had some one check to see . Got to be My turn cashier wasn't having a Great day . Her look and her tone was not good at all . I expressed to her that I hope her day gets better. She just looked at Me with a blane expression, like lady leave . When I checked my order like I always do before pulling off one of my doughnuts I ordered wasn't correct. I didn't want to bother her again but it was for someone else and I wanted them to have what they wanted . I manage to get her attention by waving and told her and she took her tool and took one out and went to the area bought back the correct doughnut putting it in and I said Thank You Sweetie , Sorry hope You have a Blessed day she looked at Me and nodded her head saying not one word and pulled the window closed the expression on her face was definitely not a pleasant or a good look . I couldn't believe what had happened I just pulled off thinking should I eat and give these doughnuts and milkshakes to My Family? I , Prayed for Us eating the doughnuts and milkshakes, and I Prayed that Cashier had a Better evening...and also Prayed the doughnuts were Delicious, they were..just went though a little to get what I needed...Maybe My next experience will...
