Starbucks — Restaurant in Charlotte

This is my "home" Starbucks and I needed to write a review after their recent remodel to voice my frustration. They replaced all the customer seating with round or oblong 2 or 4 tops. There are no comfortable lounge type chairs inside any longer. They have added some conversation seating outside but, c'mon, this is Charlotte and you get months of pollen or heat so not a place to sit and relax for a bit.

Meanwhile, a totally new store 1.5 miles away has nice banquet seating, a conversation area, a long table to work at or sit with friends. It just baffles me that whoever dictated the interior design still has a job.

Oh, and the return by the company of the milk condiments is great, and using mugs instead of plastic cups gets approval, but why not provide a larger station so that everything is not jammed on top with no room to prep your drink?

Just one note aside from the removal of all comfort and neighborhood feel, there is one employee who is consistently talking with coworkers and applying lip gloss rather than actually making orders and she has zero...

As many others i choose to spend a good chunk of change with this company... So I go in on a Saturday morning it's packed as usual and there's only two or three people working, as usual, I ordered a special drink with an additional shot & flavoring so of course they were more than happy to charge me for that an additional shot and flavor but they did not put it in there in fact they put a lesser amount than in the regular drink, ( I EVEN ASKED THE GIRL BEFORE I PAID IF SHE GOT IT ALL RIGHT B.C THIS IS NOT THE 1ST TIME, MORE LIKE THE 10TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED) but of course I get all the way home realize it tastes like s* and what am I supposed to do at that point I spent/ threw away $7 on ice coffee that I can't/ dont want to drink... Again... Ugh. Sn the Starbucks in Matthews HarrisTeeter is the best! any mess up or long wait they always treated me special, free drink coupon. Something .. I miss...

As much as I want to give this place 1 star, it wouldn't be fair, as the barista I dealt with was friendly, and professional. The other person behind the counter, though, was rude and obviously didn't care about her job.

She was simply too busy chatting it up with friends when I came in. First she asks me what am I doing, like I'm not there to order coffee (because, you know....I'm at Starbucks), then she points at where I should order. No signs telling me where to go, and she obviously couldn't be bothered with me, since she was too busy talking to her buddies about her friends, and their pet dogs.

No worries though. I still love Starbucks, and their coffee. Too bad this one person ruined my experience at this particular location. I'm definitely not going back to this place, but the good thing about Starbucks is, there are many more locations to...
