The store it self is Wonderful, it’s the staff for example Manager Lisa, would not assist me with an exchange for a defective candle. All I wanted to do was exchange for the same candle, but Lisa refused to help me and told me that I cannot gain assistance because the candle was used halfway through. So I asked Lisa, how would I know if the candle is defective if I don’t use it why would you not exchange it when you could clearly see that the candle will not burn properly or stay burned, but no Lisa refused Help me and this is a individual who you have as a manager. I could only imagine how many customers she has treated this way. Lisa’s attitude was disgusting. It was no reason for her to not only embarrass me in the store in public, but also to be an embarrassment in front of her staff and even her staff cashier. Read moreI’m not the type to leave negative reviews. However, I will no longer be shopping at this (or any) World Market location. I ordered two lamps online in early July; they arrived less than a week later - both broken. I returned them to this location, and was not refunded for shipping. I elected to order two more lamps to the store and pick them up so not to risk broken lamps sent to my home again.
I was told I’d be called when they arrived. When over a month passed, I contacted the store and they could not locate the order. I then visited the store twice and was told they would arrive end of August. Well, I visited the store a third time - now over two months since I initially ordered the lamps - and they still could not locate them or give me a date for delivery. I elected to give up and go buy lamps elsewhere.

I've no complaints about the staff at all. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and polite. My issue is with their inventory system. I've placed four store pick-up orders in the past six months, and only one has been filled with no errors. I'd like for the company to respect the hard work their customer facing employees do and take note of the issue and fix it. Inventory accuracy (or a lack thereof) is why I can't give five stars.
