I love jack in the box food, but the service is terrible at this location. It's the closest one to me which means I won't be ordering from there anymore. I ordered through the app 8:20pm, app said it would be delivered between 9:03 to 9:46. It never came. I called 4 times before getting an answer because I knew they close at 10pm. First time someone answered, person hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. Called back again. Asked why they hung up on me, said they didn't hear me so hung up. They heard me fine when saying I ordered through the app, until I asked to speak to a manager hung up on me. She said she didn't hear anyone on the line. She didn't say hello are you there or anything. Just hung up. Asked about my order, they told me it wasn't delivered and was still sitting there. I asked what am I suppose to do. They told me that the food was getting thrown away. I asked about my money I paid for it and delivery fees and even tipped. The woman I spoke with told me she was the manager the same person who hung up on me. She said I needed to contact whoever I ordered the food from for delivery. I told her I used the Jack in Box app which doesn't say who they are using for delivery. So now that it fell back on her, she tells me to call back the next day to fix the problem. I asked for her name which she was hesitant. I believe she gave me a fake name. I will not ordering from this location again. This is why I do not order delivery. You can't trust the service. Can't trust the delivery can't trust the restaurant. Haven't ordered deliver in years and this was why. Owner needs to fire people and stop assuming they can fix mistakes. They are lazy rude and don't have any respect. They are handling food and money. They need to be responsible. It's always like blame the customer for a job you don't like. Owner needs to step up. This location hasn't changed and continues to be a terrible location. I'm out my money which was a lot for one order and I know I'm not going to get it back, cause Jack in the box is terrible business. They really are. Food is good if you can get it. I wouldn't want store credit or freebies. It ain't worth the service at 4505 Randolph Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211.
Update. I have now been charged twice for the order that I never got. Almost 100 dollars for food I didn't get. Seriously I hate this place! I'm am going to report this place.
Update again. Seen on another site. The name of the manager I spoke with left a review of this location, not as a manager, but a customer. I guess trying to boost review ratings for this location. Not surprised. Also seeing a review from another customer trying to give her compliments, which in my situation doesn't come off as a genuine review. So this location makes fake reviews because obviously its customer service is terrible. Read moreThis one is a really hard one to rate, because the staff at this Jack in the Box is pretty amazing and the service they provide is absolutely top-notch....IF and WHEN they are actually THERE to provide it. This is a fantastic establishment, and as overdramatic as it might sound their staff, when I have been able to grab something to eat here regularly, we're genuinely kind fast, friendly and even generous at points towards repeat customers such as myself. However, the rub arises from the fact that this is a location that is advertised as being open and able to provide food-services through the drive-thru window on a 24-hour a day, 7 day a week basis. This is both on their website, as well as the sign that they have plastered in their windows. However, for the better part of a year at this point, I have more frequently traveled to this location planning to get something to eat to then only be met with a silent, empty, unresponsive building without anybody inside or any sort of indicator/ explanation as to why or even that the staff is somewhat mysteriously missing or unavailable; then I have had actual, successful trips where I drive there, get a meal as planned and leave as satisfied customer. The former and now more common scenario between those two just ends with me wasting both gas and time getting to and from the Jack in the Box location (I like them so much that I'm willing to drive a little bit out of my way just to patronize the locations they have, but obviously not if I'm just going to NOT get anything out of it) and driving away empty-handed and frustrated (not to mention ALSO eventually just going to spend the money I WOULD have spent at that Jack in the Box at some OTHER location). Where is the staff, and why are they not where they are supposed to be? Or maybe more importantly, why is this facility NOT open and operating and staffed at the hours that the parent company have advertised it as being open during? If you have changed or even reduced your hours, that is one thing. But barring some kind of emergency, the store should be open and the staff should be present during the hours that you, as the parent company, have stated and advertised. The alternative is just incorrect/false advertising that causes your customer-base to pointlessly waste time & effort. Either change the advertised hours for Wendy's locations are operating (because I have no idea currently WHEN these facilities open OR closed; it's literally just a crapshoot on whether you're wasting your time or not), or find out why your staff simply isn't showing up to work at their stipulated shifts. Read moreThis JIB location used to be great years ago, but is now SO bad that it truly deserves a 1-star rating and the advice-to-friends to not go there. I kept occasionally going back there to give it another chance because I actually like some classic JIB food now and then - but always with disappointing results. This last time today was INSANE! At about 6:20pm Sept. 5 I parked intending to eat in; when I was halfway across the parking lot, a guy at the drive-through window leaned out waving both arms to yell that the dining room was closed and I need to use the drive through. I did that, following another car which had arrived after me. Noone responded once I got to the order spot, but I insisted saying "Hello? Hello?" Someone answered and mumbled something about the 2nd window. I asked them to repeat it and they shouted "If you want to order, pull up to the 2nd window!" So I did. The other car was ahead of me forever and I thought the whole thing was weird - and that I should just leave. Since I was blocked, I got out to ask the other driver to pull up enough for me to get out. He said "They haven't even given me my change back!" but then did pull forward. I was walking back to my car when a different JIB employee (a guy with rasta hair and a safety vest on) came up walking and asked: "What are you doing out of your car?" I told him the story and he responded "I'm supposed to take orders! They told you that (to pull up to the 2nd window)?" I answered in the affirmative and he asked "Do you want to talk to a manager?" I answered "yes." He said "The manager will be right here" but then almost immediately afterwards he said "I'm the manager." Almost immediately after that, a large woman opened the 2nd window and yelled at me "What are you doing on my driveway?" I told her I wanted to leave since I was dissatisfied with the whole situation. She did NOT ask about what happened and certainly did NOT apologize for anything. I don't remember the exact sequence of words which ensued but it ended with us yelling FU at each other. As I was pulling out, the 2nd guy (the one with the yellow vest) nearly ran into me since he was backing his car out from where he had apparently parked just minutes before. Both he and this terrible manager had apparently just arrived to take on a new shift.
