Ordered Szechuan shrimp & scallops and special fried rice among other things. Deliberately decided not to order something else because it specified the shrimp was battered. Guess what - although not mentioned in the description on the Uber Eats menu, the Szechuan shrimp & scallops are in fact battered. Wouldn't have paid such a stupidly high price if I had known that beforehand. (And absolutely no sauce AND the sweetest Szechuan sauce I've ever tasted, not spicy at all?) Also the special fried rice is not fried, FYI. If they say it is, this it the whitest most unfried rice I have ever seen. The spring rolls were mushy inside (so nasty I couldn't take more than a bite) and had two crunchy layers (I mistook it for an egg roll), the pad Thai was bland, and they didn't include fortune cookies! The rest of the food was just mediocre if that, cannot express how disappointed I was with this order. Plenty of better restaurants to order from, don't waste your money.

I’ve ordered from DoorDash a few times, but today I decided to dine in. This was some of the best special fried rice I’ve had in a long time. I asked if they could make the rice darker, and they added soy sauce—it turned out fantastic. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy without being overcooked. While there were only seven people dining in and I ate out of a starfoam plate, it was clear they have a strong takeout business. I recommend ordering on-site and asking for the fried rice extra dark if you’re craving something reminiscent of classic New York-style fried rice and wings. Side note a robot brings your food so kids are so amazed!

Shun Lee has always been 1 of our favorites. I order hibachi shrimp with onion soup. Last time the sauce was more like a glaze, super thick & lots of soy taste, the onion soup was very salty. When I said something to the guy at register, he said I should've spoke up. I didn't cos I didn't notice until I started eating. Cabela, the AI, who brought our food was more friendly & talkative than the girl who took our order! But I give it 4 stars. Lots of menu items to choose from!

Delicious! I’ve been looking for a reliably good Chinese restaurant in Charlotte and am glad I finally found Shun Lee Palace. I’ve gotten burned a few times with weak Chinese food in town, but this place really hit the mark and was satisfying.

We’ve done dinner pick-up orders and each time the food was ready quickly and still hot. Entree sizes were big enough to get a second meal from leftovers. The egg foo young is just what I wanted in old school Chinese fare - hot, oily, eggy fritters with a generous amount of gravy. The gravy here is yellow and tastes like Chinese five spice with a hint of curry. We also have ordered the sa cha beef, kon bo chicken, and chicken with hot garlic sauce. All were delicious and they did not skimp on sauce in each stir-fry. Pork egg rolls were also great. The fried rice that comes with the entrees could be a bit more fried and brown, but did have veggies and egg bits in it and was not dry. I am guessing a full side of fried rice that had a meat choice would be cooked to order.

Overall, I am impressed and this is my new go-to place...
