La Sa-Son by Winter — Restaurant in Charlotte

Very disappointed! I was looking forward to eat here but unfortunately they are very unorganized and rude when it comes to sit people. I stood up for 15 min waiting to put my name down to get a table (first time here) I asked the person in front why people were standing and he said that when it comes to sit people don’t matter when you arrive they just yell “a party of 1,2 etc” you raise your hand. I had a little kids with me so I approached the hostess and ask him kindly if I could put my name down and his response was we don’t do that here so I asked how they can keep track because there’s people outside waiting and if I’m Outside I won’t be able to get a table. I have a party of 6. I said that it would be good if they can implement a better way of sitting people because I have little ones and I couldn’t be inside because there was absolutely no waiting space. He got offended with my recommendation He looked a me in a mean way and said “ you are not going to tell me how to run the business” blew my mind off that he was so disrespectful towards a customer and another lady came and was very rude I didn’t say anything to her and She was saying to me they are not going to sell me anything all this because the hostess lied saying that I was yelling when I was very calm. I walked to talk to the owner because this man was very disrespectful and and he lied to my face saying I was yelling that they don’t know how to do their job. I talked to the friend that recommended this place and he said the hostess is the owner’s son so that’s why they believed his lies. Very sad that an owner yells to a woman literally I was in tears walking towards my car because I was afraid because 3 people were yelling at me asking me to leave when I was walking out on my own after the owner...

Burnt food, false advertising, and awful service — avoid this place.

We came in excited to try the food, but what we were served was completely burnt (see attached photos — this isn’t an exaggeration). It was dry, charred, and barely edible. We politely asked for a replacement and were told no because we had taken “a few bites.” Of course we did — how else are you supposed to realize it’s burned?

We spoke directly with the owner, Winter, who not only dismissed our concern but casually admitted that the food isn’t made fresh, despite what the menu claims. According to him, they buy it from somewhere else, which means it’s likely frozen and simply reheated. That’s false advertising — plain and simple.

Between the terrible customer service, the inedible food, and being lied to about what we’re eating, this was a total waste of money. Don’t fall for the fake “fresh” claims — you...

Ecuadorian cuisine in Charlotte wow!!! The food is amazing, made with love and you can taste that!!! The Cheff personally brought everyone’s food out which I thought was very kind and personal. The staff was amazing and friendly! The place was very clean, and inviting, loved the very open space so you don’t feel like everyone is on top of you. My husband and I loved that there was a great outside patio for these perfect summer evenings. We also really enjoyed the music in the restaurant. Over all 10/10 highly recommended.

PSA;; We noticed a (1 star) comment and from a clearly very mentally challenged woman, It’s safe to say that girl has no clue what good food obviously is because everything was delicious.
