Based on the service I received this past Saturday, I will not return to this restaurant. My assumption is that the restaurant booked a party & didn't have enough seats for everyone. So people were standing right beside me the whole time I was there. Secondly, the waitress took everyone's order at my table except mine. She looked at me, went to the table with the party, then went and hugged a guy and walked off. So I'm sitting there baffled because that has never happened to me before. My table stopped another waitress to find ours so i can place my order. When she finally came back, she came to me and said, "I took your order." This conversation wouldn't exist if my order was taken. No apology nor ownership was taken for the oversight. That ticked me off. I should've asked her what I ordered since she thought she'd already taken it. Food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collards. The chicken was good, just a smidge salty. I did not like the flavor of the mashed potatoes, and the collards were inedible. The collards were so hard. I couldn't believe they had the audacity to serve that. The collards needed to cook a lot longer than they were. The last thing that had me tight was that I paid with cash, and the same waitress asked me if I wanted change. YES!! They already charged automatic 15% for everyone, then charged 5% transaction fee. I asked her what the fee was. All she said was that everyone gets charged that. Well, I'm paying with cash, so what's the fee for. She finally brought my change back and tried to short change me. I had to tell her the exact amount I was owed. After I corrected her, she acted like she had an attitude. I immediately left after that. The male and the other lady that served our table were nice. I don't know if the young waitress thought she knew me or what her issue was with me, but she was the most unprofessional waitress I've ever encountered. We are not close in age, and I don't live in Charlotte, so I don't know what her issue was with me or if I reminded her of someone. She definitely needs customer service training or another job.

Me and my wife came here off a social media post we saw a couple weeks ago from the owners daughter (I believe). We’ve been having bad luck with restaurants lately so we started cooking at home to avoid disappointment, but we wanted a break from cooking so although hesitant, decided to try something new. We went on a Wednesday night, had strawberry margarita, spinach dip, wings (hot honey), lamb chops with a side of mash and macaroni, and brownie with ice cream for dessert; I was pleasantly surprised that and everything was delicious!!! This is probably the best food I’ve had in Charlotte after living here for almost 3 years. The menu doesn’t have a lot of options but I can safely say the options that are presented are perfected which I wish more restaurants would adapt the concept of. I wish they had more wet options for the wings instead of the dry rub but that is just a personal preference and the hot honey didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was great, music was a vibe (especially when the saxophone player blessed the mic) the staff is friendly. We arrived a little after 7 and it was maybe 30% capacity and by 9 they were at 100% for seating so you may want to get there a little earlier to avoid a possible wait. I’m not sure if the outside opens when the weather is warmer or maybe when they have the staff to cover it, but outside seating was not available when we went which makes sense because it was breezy out. All and all 10/10 we’ll be back for brunch. I pray they stay consistent and wish them all the success. To be only open for a little over a month, they’re definitely setting a great example for quality. Just look at the pictures 😩

The decore is chic and vibrant. It's a tight squeeze inside, but the chairs are comfortable. It's definitely a vibe. However, the food was okay. We all ordered the Brunch Lamb entree that comes with eggs or sub grits. That alone was unusual as there's a double protien. I wanted the dinner portion, but we could literally only order from the brunch menu. The lamb chops come with a sweet garlic and herb sauce that has a teriyaki influence. We ordered. Medium, Medium-Well, and Well, however, they all came out the same even though they were denoted by their alleged cooking temp. The side of eggs were ample as it appeared we got 3 medium sided eggs. The waffle, although beautifully plated, was hard and dense. Our plates got mixed in the kitchen as someone got the other person's cheese and onions & cheese. We didn't cause a fuss, though, as we moved outside on the patio cause it was too loud. We couldn't really enjoy our conversation. We sat at table 16 initially, which was right under the speakers. We also ordered mimosas flights in guava, pineapple, mango, and strawberry. You can change the base from OJ to pineapple juice. They were beautiful, but you have to stir it at the table to get the color gradient. Our syrup was at the bottom. The pineapple was my favorite, though. The champagne is not the best quality, but it's okay because it was brunch. This spot is definitely for a younger vibe. Everyone looks gorgeous, dawning their pre-summer attire. It's definitely a cute occasion spot. I hope more men get into the brunch vibe cause the ladies were cute. It's really loud, so be mindful if you're an ancient elder like me. LOL.

I went here with my girls last night and this review is going to be as real as it can get. I’ll start with the pros of it all the ecstatics of the place is beautiful, the dj really kept the vibes going, the food was a 8/10, and the drinks were a 7/10. The cons are they recommend that you make a reservation only to get there at your schedule time and they check you in and say you still have a 25-30 min wait, what’s the sense of having a reservation if I still have to wait. The service was all over the place the waiter introduce herself said she will be right back came back in 25 mins took I orders said she would bring water to the table and never came back. We watched our drinks sit on the bar for almost 25 mins before they were brought to our table. One of the managers did come over and try to make it right but we were already over it, she did give a discount on the checks which was nice, however they need a lot of more organization if they plan to keep their business open. If your looking to get some decent food, don’t mind waiting a long time (you will wait to get in, get your food, and drinks), and want to enjoy some diverse music go for yourself and let me know what you think. All in all I feel like if they get more organize and adjust the seating so their staff can fully serve their customer it will be more of a pleasant experience.

This was our 1st time stopping by & we had no idea it was the type of environment that it was. (Basically a club-style restuarant.) If you're not into loud music & dim lighting or any club vibes, this place may not be for you. We didn't mind, the dj played great music! The lady who called for people with reservations to come inside seemed pretty overwhelmed. The parking lot is full of people hanging around outside, but there was a security or police office walking around. You do get patted down before you go inside & have to show your ID. Our waitress, Lauren, was a doll. Super sweet & attentive! We ordered the salmon bites (because the crab & salmon balls had been out of stock for days) were ok, a bit over-fried but had a good flavor. I had the Mac & cheese and shrimp dinner. Pretty good! One drink I got that I forget the name (Miller-something) was a tequila based fruity drink that was delicious! My husband got the fried chicken dinner w/ mashed potatoes & mac & cheese. (Somebody put their foot in those mashed potatoes because they were the best! Haha!) Overall it wasn't what we were expecting, but were glad we did come by. We will come again probably earlier in the day, maybe at open time to see how it is then & try a different dish. We hope Lauren is there too! Awesome customer service from her.

I've been asking for more BRUNCH spots in Charlotte. Well here's a new Black-Owned restaurant in Charlotte. They have only been open a few weeks but have already mastered a Deluxe brunch menu with all the top favorites from classic chicken & waffles to shrimp & grits. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy with tables and booths for larger party sizes. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Make sure to ask for our beautiful and sweet friend Tiffany! She was such a pleasant and attentive server. Tiffany definitely made our experience AMAZING! She recommended the margarita flight and mimosa flight as well as a few other specialty cocktails. We took all her recommendations and was extremely satisfied. We ordered the Build Your Own Brunch which included a meat, eggs, grits and waffle. The lamb chops were cooked medium well to perfection and the chicken wings were juicy and crispy! My friend stated the eggs were tasty as well as the French toast. Doors open for brunch at noon and I highly recommend making a reservation or take your chances of getting a seat at the bar. There is free parking alongside the building and adjacent parking lots. This place has all the good vibes with a live DJ on-site playing all the latest HITS & R & B. Make sure to check them out!!
