If I could give zero stars I would. I have been a patron of sabor for years now The Pineville location and Rock Hill location. The Ballantyne location opened up and I was excited and thought I would give them my business. Went in ordered food, ordered a fountain drink. When I went to use the fountain drink it was broken. I let them know and they they said they would fix it. My food came out and I still had no drink. I went up to the counter and asked them again and they said in a minute. I asked how long was it going to be for me to get a drink and the guy responded I don't know. I then asked if I could just have a glass bottle of soda that they had sitting in the refrigerator. They told me I would have to pay $0.25 extra for that. who carries coins or cash on them anymore? So I'd have to give them my debit card to run another $0.25 to get a glass bottle of soda when they had already charged me for a fountain soda that didn't work. So instead I asked them to just refund me the order of food. Sabor would rather lose out on food that they already cooked and the money that I already paid for that versus having good customer service and and taking care of a customer when they had a problem on their end. So unfortunate. Yes I get that this sounds like such a first world problem but it was so ridiculous on sabor's part. 25 cents. The manager responded that they were sorry but it was corporate policy. Well maybe corporate needs to reevaluate their policy. They just lost a customer over $0.25 and had to discard a $30 order of food. Good job Sabor. Drove to tacos Coranay and gave them my money. Tacos were much...
Read moreTerrible customer service. My girlfriend originally posted a review but like all bad reviews, it magically disappeared. A few weeks ago we placed an online order around 6:45pm and received an email stating it would be ready at 7:12. So knowing we live about 10 min away, we planned accordingly to pick up the food right at 7:12. She then received a text saying it was ready at 6:47pm. I started driving and called the location asking if they could remake it when I got there because we had planned for 7:12 to be as fresh as possible. Was told no, it was already made and don't listen to the online timing in the email. Showed up with nobody in the restaurant and said since it's been sitting there for 20 minutes and is most likely cold, could they remake it. They said no, sorry. I advised the timeline of events and how we planned to pick it up when it said to and it would be nice to have it warm, they again said no. For nachos that cost a couple of bucks to make and nobody in the restaurant, this should have easily been resolved, but was not. Extremely disappointed as we WERE excited Sabor was opening close to home, just unfortunate the lack of "what's the right...
Read moreIf I could give more than five stars, I would. This place is next-level when it comes to bold flavors, fast service, and pure street food magic. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of sizzling meats, warm tortillas, and freshly made salsas that instantly make your mouth water.
I tried the tacos, the burrito bowl, and the street corn (because why not go all in?), and every single bite was absolute perfection. The barbacoa melts in your mouth, the churros are crispy clouds of cinnamon-sugar joy, and don’t even get me started on the green salsa—liquid gold. 💯
Their portions are generous, their prices are fair, and their customer service? Top-tier. Everyone there makes you feel like family, and they clearly care about serving quality food with real heart.
Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or sitting down with friends, Sabor hits every mark. Fast. Flavorful. Fantastic. This is not just a meal—it’s an experience.
Do yourself a favor and get Sabor in your life ASAP. This is Mexican street food the way it was meant to...
