This is unfortunate. I was traveling to work and was asked to stop by this Wendy's to pick up two cheeseburgers. Upon entering the restaurant, I seen one employee, clocking in or out at the register. As I approached, I let out a "Hello", I was ignored or not understood...lol..for another day, another review. Continuing. I waited patiently for a couple of minutes for another employee to approach. She stood there staring at me, I suppose this is the universal sign, for me to order!? No Hi, hello, thank God you are here today, spending money in a crisis!!!! Nope! Nada! So, I ordered the two cheeseburgers, received change, deposited into Ronald McDonald than moved over to the condiment table. There I was greeted with fruit flies scrounging the ketchup! Oh yummy! After seeing this display, i thought, the workers couldnt possibly know there are flies all over this good American ketchup! I must go at once and let them know! Ha! The same lady that took my order was grabbing things for drive out when i exclaimed, "Ma'am, there are fruit flies all over the ketchup!" She looked up and said, "I know, management needs to spray". The fact that management knows about an unsanitary issue in a food setting and does nothing, is Ludacris! AND i arrived in the AFTERNOON!!!! STILL NOTHING DONE, BUT YOU KNOW ABOUT IT!? SO NONCHALANT At this point, yes, I made a call to the individual I was retrieving the burgers for, and testified the unsanitary conditions of the Wendy's, and asked if the individual still wanted the food...ok...so..they..said, yes. I am personally, writing a review for others, especially the elderly, and children to stay from this sickening establishment! And they wonder how we get diseases!!!! From insects, bugs, and animals that contaminate what we are digesting!!!! Please, management and workers, for yourself, for your families, God, and the city of Charlotte, represent better, do better, be better, TAKE A STAND FOR THE GOLDEN RULE!!!! Read moreWhy am I not surprised? This is the second review I've posted for Wendy's in the last 2 hours at two different locations. This time I waited in line for 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru just to get to the speaker for them to tell me that their computer wasn't working so they were no longer taking orders. I am an Uber Eats delivery driver and this not only affects the customer who paid for the food but it also me and my time as well. When I asked if they weren't even doing Uber Eats that were previously ordered and paid for they said no. I then asked them when this happened tonight at what time, they did not answer me. I then said hello a few times trying to talk with them and they proceeded to ignore me. It says completely unprofessional, horrible customer service, and a complete disregard for their own advertised hours of operation. I find it incredibly hard to believe that too Wendy's locations in Charlotte North Carolina within the same couple of hours couldn't manage to operate. One said they were short staffed yet staff was in there, why on Earth would you even open the restaurant or keep it open if you weren't able to serve food. This tells me that they just didn't want to work, but they had to keep it open. The second one is an excuse as their computers were down but then refused to actually explain it to their customers which leads me again, to believe that they just weren't willing to do their job. The most horrific thing about all these experiences is that these fast food workers make more an hour than EMTs do and they actually save lives. Shame...
Read moreI went to this location on Feb.9. My purpose was to use the restroom and grab a quick sandwich for my husband. The bathroom was very dirty. Went to the register and no one was there. I was greeted with a "for here or to go" no hello or welcome! Kale (the cashier) took my order and my money and went to the girl making the sandwiches. Kale put her nasty, uncovered hands into the bacon and put it on a sandwich. I quickly said something about it and she says "o this wasn't yours" really! It doesn't matter whose sandwich it was because it was still wrapped and went to someone else!! The girl making the sandwiches quickly says I will make you another, whatever by this point I'm extremely disgusted! I took the sandwich and threw it away. I then called Wendy's corporate office and explained what happened, I was then called by the manager of the location and she apologized and even offered a free meal. I turned down the offer because at this point I'm extremely disgusted by Wendys. Wendy's (not just this location) seems to hire these young employee's that clearly do not like their jobs! They have no customer service skills and definitely no common sense! You don't put your hands in the food that is served to customers! Get it...
