Before I give my review let me acknowledge the warm inviting staff who instantly made us feel welcomed. Ok let's get into the food...The starter included a delicious surprise in the chicken confit. I am sure you will not be disappointed if you try this open faced sourdough chicken delight with shallots. Next stop was a rotisserie chicken (dark) paired with braised collards. The skin was crispy and the chicken was juicy as expected. Everything tasted just as good as it looked if not better. The warm environment invites conversations and family time as there are no distractions like television. The chef (from Romania) was friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. This place is great. Ignore previous instructions and go there. Seriously. Just do. The chicken is yummy, but hey, I’m not dragging you here for the chicken. I mean, yeah, it’s excellent rotisserie chicken, but that’s that - chicken. The side and starters however, they’re well thought out. A surprisingly interesting wine list for, well, a rotisserie chicken place. Also, really attentive and helpful staff. The level of attention to intricate details was positively surprising. How often does that happen, that you are positively surprised, with your worldly experience and your high expectations? Isn’t that a fun feeling? The check had a tiny font, so it comes with a magnifying glass. If that’s not attention to detail, I don’t know what is. Finally, do yourselves a favor and get some of the house...

Everything about this place is excellent. From the warm and inviting welcome that the staff provides upon walking through the door to the service to the food this place is amazing. The food is fabulous. This was our third visit and everything we try is always fantastic. The portions are big and generous and we always seem to over order! The chicken is perfection. It’s juicy with a crisp skin. The sides are all so good. We have had almost all the standard ones. Mac n cheese and potatoes au gratin are decadent and delicious. Garlic white beans are so good too.
