UPDATE: It is important that I update this review. Right after I wrote this, I spoke to the owner of this Smoothie King. He was helpful, polite and took responsibility for what happened. Within an hour, he was able to get this issue resolved and let me know that it had been taken care of. I bumped my review from 1 star to 3 stars for the owner's response. I have also uninstalled the app and will not be using the app anymore.
Downloaded the app and signed up. While removing smoothies from my order, the app decided to submit my order. I needed 2 smoothies, not 5. I called the store right away and had to leave a message and called back a few minutes later to be told that they had already made half the order (in 3 minutes). The employee was aware that I had left a message! I have been trying for a week to get in touch with the owner who was supposed to call me about this and nothing. I have called corporate and still no response. I have been a customer for a long time and I am sure that this is not how Smoothie King would want to be portrayed by...

Their interface said that my order had been completed so I requested a refund. They ensured me that it was on the way and so I waited another hour. Remained nowhere to be found; I called back the store and was told that once it leaves their premises itās no longer their problem. As this is a business being run for the sake of customers happiness Iām absolutely appalled. They stole my money without giving me what I ordered or any sort of useful assistance. Definitely do not recommend. I find this especially upsetting as itās the only smoothie king in Charlottesville. Iāll definitely be turning to local businesses instead from now on. I think theyāre just young so they donāt know how to properly conduct themselves in a business with customers. You need to be mindful of how and what you speak of. Anyway, I asked for my smoothie to be made without almonds and bananas and of course it was made with bananas. The worker was too engrossed in conversation to pay attention. When I asked him if he put the bananas in it, he said no. After one sip I knew that there were definitely bananas in my smoothie.
