I got 3 onigiri, so my rating is for those. The fried chicken, shrimp tempura, and grilled eel. For the fried chicken and shrimp tempura, they both kind of fell apart when I tried to take the plastic wrapper off. This may be due to the fact that they didn’t have time to cool the fried chicken and shrimp tempura (after deep frying) before packing them into the rice, as I assume these onigiri were made to order and not prepared beforehand. When I got my takeout delivery order, I noticed that these two onigiri were still warm. So, this made the seaweed stick/cling to the rice and each other. The seaweed also became very elastic and tough to chew/bite off. Usually, all you need to do is pull on the corners to open the onigiri, but for these, I also pulled toward the upper parts near the top point in order to take the wrapper off. If you only pull on the corners, the onigiri either splits apart in the middle where most of the filling is, or gets squeezed out on one side. For the grilled eel onigiri, this one wasn’t as warm, and I decided to try putting it in the refrigerator to stop the seaweed from getting soggy/sticky. It seemed to help, the seaweed still had a crisp crunch when I ate it, and the onigiri held together after carefully taking the wrapper off. But the eel became very gummy, and wasn’t a pleasant texture. For all 3 of these onigiri, they were generous with the fillings, but I think there was too much sauce in each one for my liking. Especially when compared to the onigiri you find in Asia. But all in all, I’m grateful that this restaurant offers onigiri, even though it’s not the same as you’d expect in Asia. Perhaps the spicy tuna or spicy salmon ones are better than the ones I tried.

Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty. The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.

Cute, cozy, clean mom and pop eatery that serves sushi, bubble tea, and froyo. Half of the space is the froyo machines and toppings bar, but there are some seats for enjoying your food as well. The lunch special is a great deal — we ordered two specials and were surprised by how well rolled & filled the rolls were. The owners are kind and pleasant too. Great for a casual meal or hangout with friends!

This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh

Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time...
