My grandson and myself decided to go eat at Buddyâs. I use to eat there every Saturday until the all you can eat ribs were taken away. I went a few more times after that but I could never get fresh ribs. It seems that on the all You can eat rib Saturday they were always fresh but any other time they were very dry and hardly any meat on the bones. So i stopped going until recently I decided to give them another try. I ordered the rib dinner with a plain baked potato and Baked beans. My grandson had the kids tenders and French fries. My name was called to come get my food as I got to the counter my grandsons food was ready and part of mine was ready. The guy told me the potatoes were not ready and It would be 10 minutes and they would be ready. So I told him that I like to have all my food at one time and could he please put my food under the warmer to keep it warm until it was all ready. He rudely snatched the plate off the counter and laid it on the side of the fryer. 20 minutes go by and I go back to the counter and ask were the potatoes done yet. So the man(managers husband ) ask her how much longer would it be before they would be ready. She smarts off to him goes to the back gets a pan of potatoes and throws them on the back counter the guy says who did that and she(the manager) says in a very smart voice I did. You want your potatoes donât you? At that point I was very angry to see a manager act that way in front of a customer. I proceeded to tell the cashier( managers daughter ) that I would never be back there again. She starts apologizing and offering me and my grandson dessert on the house and I told her no thank you. She was very sweet and professional . First the guy was rude then the manager?? I had enough at that point. So I finally get my food I had a nice fresh hot potato but by then the ribs were cold. How can you hold your employees accountable for bad customer service when their manager needs a course in customer service herself. I could have gotten over waiting on my food but the way the manager acted was way...
Read moreSince this is what the manager Tiffany requested me to do even though I had no intentions of leaving a bad review, instead calling the district manager to file a complaint, here we are. I had a disappointing experience at Buddy's Restaurant in Hixson, primarily due to the manager, Tiffany. Not only did she get agitated that my order was wrong, but when I brought it to her attention, she was very dismissive and rude about fixing the simple mistake. This entire interaction lasted about 30 seconds but it is the most unpleasant 30 seconds Iâll never get back in my life. I will save all the details for Laura who works in corporate because itâs not necessary here. To sum up the interaction, she requested I leave a bad review so here it is. I called the store to hopefully speak with someone more professional just to realize it was her on the line. I asked for the cooperate number and she told me âI donât know it off the top of my headâ and proceeded to tell me to google it or call the East Ridge store. It's frustrating when a manager lacks the professionalism to handle mistakes properly. I won't be returning anytime soon. Hopefully she receives the training she desperately needs and deserves to be a better fast food employee let alone, a manager. Hopefully her night gets better than what it was when I went through the drive thru and hopefully the corporate number I had to fish for because this manager didnât know it and didnât want to find it, does something about this matter. If youâre looking for an unforgettable experience (for all the wrong reasons), Tiffany's got...
Read moreI fully understand frustration in the Restaurant business today. This was my first time here. When I got home, there was no BBQ sauce in either carry-out container and the baked beans in my wifeâs had about a fourth of an inch of beans with mostly sauce. We should have given the Hush Puppies to the squirrels, they were soft and mushy. When I spoke to the manager, she said most of the staff had laid out all day, and she only had trainees there. When I tried to tell her, I understood, she just kept talking over me about how bad it was. If she had just said, Iâm sorry, next time youâre here bring your ticket and I will comp you a drink or a side. I listened to the rant, and finally said this is my first time, and it will be my last time here. Her response was, I donât care and she hung up the phone. This isnât to get anyone in trouble. I can only imagine what sheâs been through all day long. I should have suspected something with the young man running the register didnât have an answer when I asked, are the flavors of your sauces hot, med, mild. What do you have and he didnât know. Sorry for the staffing issues. It may be better to close early rather than customers having these kind of...
