Captain D's — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I eat pretty regularly at Captain D's. Nice atmosphere inside and food very reasonably priced since they even provide custom platters. I can see looking at other reviews people assume Captain D's is a "fast food" restaurant. It is NOT. While they do provide a drive-through for customer convenience, anytime I order custom platters (my favorite is grilled white and shrimp skewer), it takes a little longer. Sometimes other people in front of me at the drive-through are apparently ordering custom platters as well and that causes the drive through time to become longer. I have found this to be bit of an inconvenience when I'm in a hurry during lunch time - but that is what I get for ordering a custom item from their menu instead of their basic batter dip fish. I know other fish restaurants always take longer and they cost more. I think Captain D's needs to communicate to their customers exactly the kind of restaurant they actually are so customers expectations will be more in line with what Captain D's...

I want to give a HUGE shout out and thank you To all the employees that were working today 4/13/23. My grandmother who is 84yrs old fell outside on the concrete and my grandfather went inside asking for help to help his wife up. He told me that every single employee ran out side to help her. Big thank you to the lady who has a nurse background that helped ask her questions and waited until the paramedics arrived. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I live in Florida and I could not be there to help. These people are amazing human beings. You have no idea how they have helped shape my life with the love they have radiated throughout the years! God bless every single one of you! Please give the employees bonuses or at least some kind of praise I'd be willing to donate for the kindness. I will call the store tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do for their kindness. Thank you again for all that...

The pictures from what was supposed to be 4 piece fish, which the idiot cashier rang up as a 4 piece chicken. If I wanted chicken I definitely would not have made a trip to Captain D's. The manager was in such a rush to throw the meal out the broccoli was predominantly stalks. The idiot cashier sold me a medium drink and then handed me a small cup. When I pointed out the difference she decided to shoot her mouth off about it being a medium, until the drive thru cashier told her it was a small cup. It would be great if Captain D's could find more than one cashier with enough intelligence not to argue with a customer when the cashier is wrong. The cashier on the counter decided she was sick and had to go home early on December 31, apparently; she had not hit the bottle hard enough before...
