Wow. I have to drive some distance anytime and everytime to enjoy my favorite fast food so after picking up my take out order at this Chick Fil A (I was in the Chattanooga downtown area on business and Google directed me there.) Express on UTCs campus, I was bitterly disappointed. All the hot food was "been sitting there a while" cold. The chicken nuggets were scraps, though the fries were ok ... just luke warmed over. I hated giving the $30 of long anticipated good meal food to my hungry, tired family, but we were in a hurry on the road to Knoxville. The store had about 5 employees in the back with one at the counter. No one was in a particular rush to assist anyone. I was customer number 4 waiting for quite some time. There were no smiles or great effort to be cordial. Maybe they were closing? It was only about 5:30 pm? A bad day perhaps? Regardless, I will never take a Chick Fil A take out order for granted again. I will check the order and quality of the food from now on. I can't afford to throw good money at bad service. Order consistently isn’t correct. Yesterday I went there and ordered from this lady that was super rude and apparently deaf. She got the first half of my order correct (deluxe sandwich w/ no cheese), but she forgot to give me fries and a drink (thankfully didn’t charge me for it). Today I order the exact same thing. The lady who rung me up was a life saver and her kindness will never be forgotten. I was short 2 dollars and only had cash but theu could only take cards. It was so busy and I was so embarrassed. I asked her to take it off and just give me the sandwich, she kindly grabbed my hand and told me not to worry about it. It was exactly what I needed in that moment. A kind face and kind heart for no reason except she was a good person. I will pay it...
