I ordered the chicken kebab wrap and it was so delicious! I wasn’t surprised it was going to be this good because I’ve always enjoyed Middle Eastern cuisine but this by far was the best that I’ve ever had! The hospitality and customer service was also very heartwarming. I’ve newly moved to Chattanooga and being Muslim, there aren’t a lot of halal places in the area that are close to where I live so I stumbled upon this place after searching halal places in my area on google. When I went inside the restaurant, I noticed there was a lot of Palestinian art which already made me feel so welcome. I talked to the owner about my love for Palestine and how much I admired the beauty of his restaurant. He was very sweet and welcoming and we chatted for a couple minutes while the food was being prepared. I was also given a complimentary tea since I was new to the area and also a first time customer. It definitely will not be my last time coming here. Brilliant...
Read moreThe food here is highly inconsistent. One particular dish I've had has been pretty good, consistently, but the pizza is incredibly inconsistent.
Sanitation and service are real issues here, regarding at least him and his granddaughter.
Akram is often very rude, and he promotes propaganda, including once badmouthing Donald Trump and doing so in classless fashion (typical of the left).
I use a wad of paper towels to turn of restroom spigots and to open restroom door handles and had nowhere in the restroom to throw away my towel (I would've had to have opened a garbage lid manually), so I simply dropped the wad on the floor in the restroom behind the door, and he threw a fit about that. I'm not kidding.
The restaurant needs higher standards in terms of sanitation and service. The inconsistent food is the best part of...
Read more4 stars (really a 4.5) for any of their Middle Eastern foods, maybe a 2 for their pizza. The Palestinian Platter is really great- hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, falafel, and pita, all for about $9. It's enough for lunch for two. It's all great and fresh- the falafel in particular is delicious, and the hummus is top-notch. Prices are somewhat high, but then again, it is food that is hard to find around here, so the VALUE (not price) is pretty good. Gyros are very, very cheap and filling. On to the other parts of the menu- hit or miss. Pizza is alright, but the toppings just aren't the greatest. The Italian food (baked ziti, etc) is passable. They have a huge soft drink selection- lots of energy drinks, etc. They also carry little cartons of Clumpie's ice cream. Stick to Middle Eastern food and...
