This was the 2nd time in a month that I've been to this DQ, both times were a failure. The 1st time I ended up with overcooked chicken fingers, so hard they weren't even edible, this time I was charged for an extra 2 cheeseburger meal and didn't even get the meal. I had the girl repeat my order when I got to the window to pay because she was having a hard time getting it right when I ordered at the speaker, she recited back to me exactly what I ordered, though the price still seemed a little high, I thought it was right because she repeated the correct order. Once I got home and pulled everything out of the bag it seemed odd that the price I paid was so much for what I ordered! Looking at the receipt it turns out I was charged for an extra meal but she did not say that I ordered 2 meals when I was at the window, she only listed one.Twice in a month I have spent money for something I didn't get. The only thing good about this store is that it is nice and clean looking. The service is friendly but lacking in being able to put an order together or making it completely consumable. I live 15 minutes away and am not willing to drive back, it would cost as much in gas as the meal they were fixing costs. Customers beware of the cost of your meal, if it sounds like you're being asked to pay too much, review your receipt and check the food they gave you. They might be ripping off more people than you know because not everyone writes a review
Update: After visiting the corporate page as suggested by the owner of this establishment, there was nothing done in response to my problems except an apology. I'm not sure why I was directed to the corporate page if I was already given an apology, it was really a waste of time on my part. Furthermore, I have not visited this DQ since and have no plans to...
Read moretldr: almost completely melted Blizzards on two separate occasions, extremely long wait times, night shift workers and one of the nightshift managers are proudly rude/condescending, workers do not wear masks correctly
I wanted a Blizzard last night, so I went here. The car ahead of me in the drive-thru gave back Blizzard cups to the workers and received new ones. That was confusing until I got mine; my Blizzard was like ice cream that had been left out for 30 minutes. My spoon could go around the half-frozen mass in the middle of the cup straight to the bottom all the way around the cup.
It was 9:45 when I went through the drive-thru, so I didn't want to be "that" customer 15 minutes before closing when the line of cars behind me wrapped around the building.
I waited until today, called, spoke to an extremely helpful manager named Myles, and was told to bring my receipt next time to get the same order redone.
I tried that tonight at around the same time (around 9:30), and it was just as bad, if not worse. The workers weren't wearing masks, and the manager on duty, when I began to explain that I had been there the night before and had had an issue, interrupted me and yelled, "I wasn't here last night!," more than once without giving me enough time to explain my problem.
For 5+ workers inside, it took around 10 minutes to get my Blizzard. All the while they were "working," they were huddled together, looking at me every few seconds, and yelling and laughing loudly enough about me that I could hear them through the closed drive-thru window. When I finally got my Blizzard, it was more like cold soup--even worse than the previous night.
By the way the workers were making it a point to let me know they were making fun of me, I wouldn't be surprised if I had a little something extra in...
Read moreI pulled in around 8:45pm on a weekday just to see their hrs of operation, since all their main lights (lobby, outdoor sign, menu, everything) were off.
I saw a cluster of young women in the door laughing and talking, so I called out to ask when they closed, and they told me they close at 10.
Seeing that the lobby was closed, I pulled into the drive-thru and made my order. There was an older lady running the window who politely took my order, and got my food out to me in a timely manner.
The food, however, was shocking, for the $15 I paid for it. I got a 6pc chicken tender basket with a blizzard and water.
The fries were cold, dry, and tasted slightly bitter, like they had been out for well over an hr. My second impression was the sip of water I took, that tasted like remarkably strong tap water--like the way basic toilet water smells, but in flavor. I instantly washed it down with some of the blizzard, which was about the only good thing about this meal. The chicken tenders were warm, but they were, well, just basic chicken tenders, and more on the dry end. I could have saved so much money just going to Walmart and microwaving some of the generic frozen tenders I get there.
I realize this is "fast food" and all, but if I pay $15 for a combo meal, I expect it to taste better than reheated McDonalds. I can't afford to go out all the time, so it was honestly the biggest buzzkill for this to be my dinner.
My bf says it almost seems like they turned out all the lights on purpose to keep people away, so they can hang out for the whole last hour or two of the night, and just use up whatever food they had from the day if anyone came to order. As frustrated as I am right now, I want to agree with him.
Absolutely never...
