When I see the term “pourhouse”, I generally expect a burger and beer joint. This restaurant has shredded that assumption. Yes they have a wonderful selection of craft beer and drinks with Chattanooga Whiskey (made right down the street), but the food is unbelievably good. For starters we had the gator bites, which were made of gator sausage with caramelized onions, topped with cheese and fresh green onions sitting on a bed of stone ground brown mustard. The slight sweet of the onions and spice of the mustard left us nearly licking the plate. For my entree I had the smoked salmon patty. Im always hesitant to order salmon patties as I fear someone is in the back opening a tin can and mixing in crushed soda crackers, but no worries here. The salmon had a subtle smoky flavor and the texture was meaty with no trace of fillers. I’m certain no tin cans were involved in making this salmon patty. It also had stone ground mustard, a sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and onion and served on a Niedlov’s bun. Every bite was delightful. My husband had the blackened fish tacos, which was a huge step outside his comfort zone, and he declared them good. The atmosphere is laid back with a sports theme, large screen TVs, and putting green. For this reason, service was a tad bit slow. The parking lot has plentiful spaces and you do not have to pay to park. The check for an appetizer, two lunch entrees and a beer was $49.

I have to give a shoutout to my server/bar tender Morgan, who did a great job. I asked lots of questions to have an allergy to gluten. You will see on the menu that they have marked the gluten-free options with GF to make things easier for customers like me. As you will see from the first pic, I chose the seared okra, which was as amazing as the pic. Next, i had the Coleslaw that has a different experience with a taste white vinegar and horseradish with a bite to it. Lastly, for the main course, yummy Jamba-sotto without shrimp. This was a different taste with chicken and pork but very tasty. Oh, I almost forgot they have a flourless chocolate cake. Yes, you are reading that correctly and just look at the picture of it. It was cake was devine. I slowly enjoyed every morsel of it. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Chattanooga area or visiting. It is a sports bar feel with lots of TV'S to watch games, but the owners are avid golfers, so this golf flags line the walls. Go ahead, see for yourself, and tell them I sent you.

Pet friendly restaurant on the outdoor patio!! This was a pleasant surprise for us, my family is from Florida and we brought our Chihuahua with us to evacuate from Hurricane Milton, finding this place on a recommendation I got from a local on Reddit was a true gem. Our 2yr old loved the freedom to get up and walk around outside, plenty of space in-between the tables. Very laid back restaurant, sit wherever you want, all of the waiters will come around and serve you, you won't have just 1 waiter. Kid friendly foods, good drink options and prices, food is decently priced for the modern era, $14-$16 for burger and fries, beer $7. We went during Wing Wednesday which is 8 wings for $8, we got buffalo wings for our "appetizer" and it was probably the best wings we've had yet, the chicken was moist and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, overall delicious. The one and only drawback was we kept getting attacked by a bee, should think about how this can be better prevented for the guests. But everything else was amazing.

My fiance and I decided to have lunch here today because we have yet to try it and have heard good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was just opposite of that. The food was good and service was decent, but the manager was very rude! My fiance ordered the wrong item. He thought he ordered a burger with portabella mushrooms, but instead it was just a portabella sandwich (no meat). He sent it back and ordered a burger for lunch. The burger was great and just what he wanted. We got the check and the portabella sandwich and burger were both on our bill. We asked them to remove the portabella sandwich as that was not what he wanted nor did he eat it. The manager came out and asked us what the problem was with the sandwich. We told him it was a mistake and he got an attitude and asked us what we wanted him to do about it. We asked him if he would take it off the bill. He continued to have an attitude and said he would split the difference with us on the sandwich. We were not going to make a scene over $10 so we said that was fine. Let me tell you though, I have NEVER had a manager at ANY restaurant not be willing to help and completely remove the item from the bill if that was not what the customer wanted to eat. I definitely have NEVER been asked to split it. Is that a joke? I understand it was a mistake on our end, but this was our first impression of this restaurant and we will not be coming back. My suggestion would be to separate the burgers and sandwiches on the menu instead of them all being mixed in with each other to help minimize this issue in the future. This restaurant will not be getting our business anymore. First impressions...

Giving this place three stars because it's a fun place to drink with friendly staff and decent beer selection, but the food is just so very meh. This is maybe the third time I've eaten here, and every time I am underwhelmed. Hands down the best thing on the menu is the roasted cauliflower with goat cheese, but it's an appetizer, and tonight even it was undercooked. Its best when the cauliflower is roasted till somewhat blackened. For dinner I ordered the Beef Tenderloin with Chimichurri, okra, and pimento cheese grits. The beef was pretty good, although it arrived undercooked by one temperature than what I ordered. The okra was straight up just slimy and gross. If they roasted or grilled this and cooked it way longer it would be a lot better. The grits were absolutely tasteless. I had to put a ton of salt and pepper and at least a tablespoon of hot sauce before they were even mediocre enough to eat, and I didn't get a pimento cheese flavor at all. At $23 for an entree and an extra $6 for my husband to get a side of grits with his PoBoy I would expect a lot more, and there are a way better restaurants in Chattanooga at the same or lower price point. His Po Boy was equally mediocre. This place is in a great location and again has very friendly service and good beer selection, but I hope they will take constructive criticism on ways to improve the menu. Their food could be great with just a bit more seasoning and focus on excellence. Until that happens, I'd recommend eating somewhere else before you come...
