If you're looking for a fun and unique way to explore Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Ducks tour is an absolute must! This is by far one of the most entertaining and memorable experiences we had during our visit to the city. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this is an adventure you don’t want to miss.

The Chattanooga Ducks offer a combination of land and water tour, which is incredibly exciting and different from your typical sightseeing experience. The amphibious vehicles are not only fun to ride in but also give you a chance to see the city from multiple perspectives. The tour starts on land, where you’re driven through downtown Chattanooga and learn about the city’s history, landmarks, and local stories. Then, things get really fun when the vehicle "quacks" into the Tennessee River, giving you a whole new view of the city from the water. It's both thrilling and scenic!

The tour guides are the real highlight. Our guide was absolutely fantastic – full of energy, knowledgeable, and funny. They kept us entertained with interesting facts and anecdotes about Chattanooga, all while ensuring we were comfortable and having a great time. Their passion for the city really shines through, making the tour not just educational but also engaging.

The vehicle itself is incredibly cool. It’s a vintage-looking amphibious vehicle that feels like something out of a movie, and it’s perfect for the land-to-water adventure. There’s plenty of space inside, so you’ll be comfortable during the tour. Plus, the guides make sure everyone is involved, asking fun questions and keeping the energy up the entire time.

The views from the river are simply stunning. You get to see Chattanooga from a completely different angle, with beautiful sights like the Walnut Street Bridge and the gorgeous landscape of the river. It’s a wonderful opportunity to take some great photos, too!

In terms of value, the Chattanooga Ducks tour is well worth the price. It’s a fun, interactive, and informative way to explore the city. The experience lasts about an hour, but it feels like time flies because you're having so much fun. It’s a great activity for families, friends, and even couples – anyone looking to try something unique and memorable.

Overall, I can’t recommend Chattanooga Ducks enough. It’s one of those experiences that makes you love the city even more, and you’ll leave with a smile on your face. If you’re visiting Chattanooga, this is a must-do – it’s fun, family-friendly, and a perfect way to see the city from land and water. I’ll definitely be back next time...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Splash of Fun and History in Chattanooga!

If you’re visiting Chattanooga and looking for a unique way to explore the city, the Chattanooga Ducks tour is an absolute must! This one-of-a-kind experience combines a scenic city tour with a splash into the Tennessee River, all aboard a restored World War II amphibious landing craft. It’s both entertaining and educational, making it perfect for families, history buffs, and adventure seekers alike.

From the moment we boarded the Duck Boat, the excitement was palpable. Our guide was not only knowledgeable about Chattanooga’s rich history but also had a great sense of humor, keeping everyone engaged throughout the tour. We started by cruising through the city’s streets, passing by notable landmarks and learning fascinating facts about the area’s past and present.

The real thrill came when we transitioned from land to water with a dramatic splash into the Tennessee River. Gliding along the river, we were treated to stunning views of the downtown skyline, the riverfront, and the lush greenery of Maclellan Island. The perspective from the water offered a fresh and beautiful angle of Chattanooga that you simply can’t get from land.

One of the highlights of the tour was the opportunity for kids to take the helm and “drive” the boat while on the river. Seeing their faces light up with joy and pride was priceless and added a personal touch to the experience that families will cherish.

The entire tour lasted about 60 to 75 minutes, striking the perfect balance between informative sightseeing and fun-filled adventure. The Duck Boat itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and safety was clearly a top priority for the crew.

In addition to the tour, we appreciated the convenience of the location. Situated in downtown Chattanooga, it’s easily accessible and close to other attractions, making it simple to incorporate into your day’s itinerary.

Overall, the Chattanooga Ducks tour exceeded our expectations. It offered a delightful blend of history, humor, and hands-on fun that left us with lasting memories. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime resident looking to see the city from a new perspective, this tour is a fantastic way to experience the charm and beauty of Chattanooga.

Highly recommended for all ages — don’t miss out on this...

If you’re looking for a unique and fun way to explore Chattanooga, look no further than Chattanooga Ducks! This amphibious tour is an absolute must-do for visitors and locals alike. Our experience was nothing short of amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The tour started with a friendly greeting from our guide, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting facts about Chattanooga’s history. We hopped aboard the vintage WWII-era amphibious vehicle, which was in great condition and made for an exciting adventure right from the start.

The first part of the tour took us through the scenic streets of downtown Chattanooga. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the city’s history, architecture, and local landmarks. It was a great way to see parts of Chattanooga that we might have otherwise missed. The humor and enthusiasm of our guide kept everyone entertained, making it perfect for both adults and kids.

Then came the most exciting part—splashing into the Tennessee River! The transition from land to water was seamless and thrilling. Floating down the river provided breathtaking views of the Chattanooga skyline and surrounding natural beauty. We even had a chance to see local wildlife and learn more about the Tennessee River’s role in the city’s history.

One of the highlights was when they let kids on board take a turn at steering the boat! It was such a fun and memorable moment, and you could see how much the kids enjoyed it. The entire experience was interactive, educational, and just pure fun.

I was also impressed by the level of safety and professionalism. The staff clearly takes great care in ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for everyone. The tour lasted about an hour, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed.

Overall, Chattanooga Ducks is a fantastic experience for all ages. Whether you’re visiting Chattanooga for the first time or you’ve lived here for years, this tour offers a fresh and exciting perspective on the city. It’s family-friendly, informative, and most importantly—a blast! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and...

This was such a fun experience for our family. Our guide, Captain Thomas was very knowledgeable about Chattanooga's history, and provided a lot of information about current businesses and restaurants in the area. We actually walked through and ate at a restaurant in the Arts District after hearing the info he provided on that area. The ride through the city was enjoyable, and splashing into the water was a lot of fun. We didn't get very wet, maybe a few drops. The ride was enjoyable for both kids and adults. Captain Thomas gave the kids on the tour a chance to steer the DUCK in the water. We also saw a bald eagle. We steered close enough for everyone to get pics, but not so close the eagle would be scared. This was probably one of the most enjoyable things we did on our trip.

This was a great birthday treat my family treated me too. It had been 12 or more years since we did the Duck boat tour and I am happy to report that it's totally worth the price. (If you're hungry or need some Refreshments before the tour go to the Overboard Bar and Grill at the Southern Belle gift shop about an hour before boarding the Duck) Chattanooga on the Tennessee river at I think it was Pier #2 Capt Joe made us feel safe; he has been doing this for a while. During the ride around the downtown streets you got a history lesson of very old sites still used today for various purposes. Once we were out in the middle of the river, he invited the kids onboard to steer the boat. He was very cool and even taught me a few details about Chattanooga. Thank you Capt Joe
