Penn station has always been my favorite sandwich place. I had one back home in Bellevue that I used to go to with my family a lot, and I have a lot of memories there. When I moved out here for college and I found out there was one here too, it became my go to place to get a sandwich whenever I was having a really hard time or was feeling homesick. Thats been getting increasingly more often as I approach graduation this semester. The staff is always nice and smiling, and I always get the same sandwich (chicken cordon bleu, itâs the best, try it.) and they always do a fantastic job. Today was hard, and very emotional, and I really just missed my mom, so I wanted a Penn station sandwich and one of their cookies (again, the BEST cookies ever. Try it.) and I ordered through DoorDash just in time, at 8:29 before closing orders at 8:30. I work in the service industry, and I know restaurant etiquette, so I felt bad but I just really needed this today, but I also kind of expected the sandwich to be a bit lackluster because I know how hard it is to do your best work even at the end of a long day.    Read moreWent to Penn Station yesterday. My overall experience was horrible. From the moment I walked in the door to leave with my food. First walking in the door, you see dirty tables guest are eating, but many tables are dirty. There were no other guest in the restaurant except one couple and myself. Walked in both employees are both on their phone. Instead of cleaning the restaurant they rather talk on the phone and play around their phone. Second staff was not knowledgeable of the menu at all. The staff acted like they did not even want to be there yesterday. When taking my order I also felt very rushed. My biggest complaint is my salad. My lettuce was extremely soggy. Also, my sandwich was poorly, put together the quality of the lettuce the quality of the meat. Everything was horrible. On the other sandwich I ordered and put together tasted better than the first sandwich but still poor put together once again staff really did not care. They just threw it together. I would not recommend Penn to anybody management is not up to par to talk to the manager and the only thing I get is hi are you the manager? I am you shouldâve...

How can you look a Norheasterner in the eyes with a straight face and call your self a Genuine East Coast Submarine Specialist. How dare you Corp! You won't be corporate long. You probably think we'll those Stupid Tennessee Hillbillies won't know the difference. You looked wrong. Go to any Publix Deli in Tn and ask them how does their Pastrami sales compare with The other meats? Most are gonna tell you #1 among the Specialty meats. Some markets will tell you it's the top seller of them all. Can't use the shortage of Pastrami line. Publix, Kroger etc. Has no problem obtaining it. You don't either. I feel bad for you Mr. Franchisees, you have been mislead and regretfully most of you will never come close to recovering what you have put in. My advice to you is speak with your legal team as to the possibility of gross misleading information that doesn't reflect this market one iota. Good Luck. ...
