First Watch — Restaurant in Chattanooga

A great place to eat in Hixson First Watch is a popular restaurant chain that specializes in delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. It was founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, California, and has since expanded its presence across the United States. Today, it boasts a considerable number of locations, with over 400 restaurants spread across the country. This reach allows customers to find a First Watch whether they're in a bustling city or a suburban neighborhood. I have visited at least 6 locations in 3 states. One of the standout features of First Watch is its focus on health-conscious options. The menu includes a variety of nutritious choices, such as egg-white omelets, fresh fruit bowls, and whole-grain pancakes just to name a few. This particular location is right of Hwy 153 in Hixson. It shares the building and the parking lot with other shops. Parking can be a challenging due to the popularity of the restaurant. We arrived with a large group for breakfast. It was very busy and the restaurant is one of the smaller size First Watches that I have visited. They seated many smaller groups before us. A table with a large party cleared and the manager did an absolutely wonderful job of seating us as quickly as possible, even offering options of seating us at 2 smaller tables to get us seated faster. Now I have been to several of these restaurants but this one was the best service I have ever had at any of them. Our waiter, Blake, absolutely made our entire day. He was at our table constantly making sure throughout the meal that all of our large party was taken care of from when we first sat down to when we paid our bills. We love this place but is a headache to eat here on Sundays. We came before a flight out to let our family from overseas try this place but we had to go for a quicker option as the wait time was over 1 hour, it was raining and packed, we were afraid to miss the fly, but that is on us.

They have run to big for their space and is very hard to find parking. I wish they moved to a location a bit more inland away from the road so we can enjoy sitting outside as well when the weather allows.

We love every single dish here, everything tastes amazing. I love the egg Benedict, the glorified egg sandwich and those potatoes.

After the airplane fiasco we came back after a doctor's appointment just my hubby and I for a middle of the week splurge, the place was still packed but we did not have to wait long, to our surprise we got our meal comped by the manager for no particular reason. Nice gift to us. Thanks so much!!.

We will continue to come, hopefully at a different time so our kiddos can also enjoy the awesome food.

One down... The coffee is weak. Not the best. I am a coffee drinker and this particular brand they use does not make my cut on flavor and body. I still come, I just bring my coffee from home in a tumbler, their food is too good to miss in account of the...

I just went to have breakfast. My experience went as follows: upon entering, I was greeted and seated promptly. My waiter was extremely nice. I ordered my breakfast and the was a hiccup in my order. (My order: the works omelet no onions no mushrooms add spinach and a side of seasoned potatoes. What I received: The works omelet with mushrooms, no onions, no tomatoes, spinach added and a side of tomatoes). I let my waiter know it was incorrect. He apologized and for clarification he wrote the order again with another waiter by his side. They continuously apologized for the mistake. They brought my order out a second time. It was still made incorrectly. I received: the works omelet no mushrooms no onions no tomatoes spinach added with a side of potatoes. I ate it and it tasted great however it wasn't what I asked for and I dare not send it back a third time. I let my waiter know and we went over the order together. He wanted to make sure he took it right. He apologized repeatedly!!!!! I told him that it wasn't his fault. Great tasting food. Good customer service. If my order was correct, they would've gotten 5 stars. I gave a 4 because they promptly acknowledged and made attempt to fix the mistake. I will recommend this place to others and...
