I can’t even begin to describe how amazing and wonderful this little treasure of a place is. It wasn’t a regular, plain Jane souvenir pit stop. We went for gifts and left with so much more. If you go to Ruby Falls they will tell you the history, but if you go to Mountain Memories you’ll learn and appreciate it so much more. Leo Lambert discovered the cave and waterfall then named it after his wife Ruby. Their life together and the stories of their love and the foundation of the falls is truly remarkable. And get this: the lady who owns and runs the place is their granddaughter! Her stories I could listen to all day long. She was so sweet, has homemade fudge (from Ruby’s recipe herself), jewelry, quilts, you name it. We will always remember our trip to Chattanooga and this will be our first thought. Thank you for making our...

What an amazing wonderful gem in Chattanooga! I literally go up here just to visit the owner because she is absolutely precious. This cute little novelty store has precious crafted earrings, hand pain and magnets, local t-shirts, handmade clay mugs and much much more. The best part is the owner is the granddaughter of Leo Lambert who discovered Ruby falls. She is a wealth of information about the true history of her grandfather and his discovery of the gorgeous waterfall. On top of all that you can stand on her side porch and watch the incline pass you within feet for free! They also have gorgeous quilts. Memorabilia from her grandparents that discovered Ruby falls as well! You really honestly do not want to miss this place and if you go by be sure and tell her Rachel sent you! The store has been here...

Great selection of local items and things relating to the Civil War, the Battles of Chickamauga and Missionary Ridge specifically. We spent a good amount of time speaking with the proprietor of the store; because of similarities between her sons and I, she's become my NEW MOM! She is a fantastic person and a blessing to my wife and I as well as ALL whom she comes in contact with! Even if you do nothing more than stop in to get a snack or beverage, stop in, spend some time looking around the place and say hi to my MOM! Your day is sure to be better and I'm willing to bet your life will be enriched!! LOVE YA "MOM!" ♥️ Thanks for all you did for us today. Your Army son & his wife...
