Where do I start…I work nights and unfortunately this is the only place open to get my coffee. I have rarely had a positive experience when I go here. First of all, I use the mobile app (which sucks- if they are out of one ingredient like whipped cream, the app shows they are sold out of every drink that comes with whipped cream. I know this is a corporate problem tho, not a Chelan Starbucks problem.) I order 20 minutes ahead of time and at 6:30 pm you’d think that should be plenty of time for my order to be ready. This store is CONSTANTLY sold out of everything. I don’t know if they can’t get enough staff or what, but they are so slow that if I don’t use the app then I would need to give myself an extra 30 minutes to stop for coffee before work. (And I’m talking the off-season here, not just during the summer.) I always order my drink with no whip, but 90% of the time there’s whip on it - I don’t ever say anything because in the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal, but like do they actually read the order? The experience I had tonight was what finally caused me to write this. I ordered a drink and an Apple croissant on the app at 6:30- arrived to the store at 6:50 and an empty food bag was sitting on the counter with “out :(“ written on it. No drink was ready yet. The 2 staff members completely ignored me until I finally said “excuse me!” And pointed to the empty bag- he said “ya what do you want?” The food was all removed from the display case so I said “well what are my options?” He said “chocolate croissant “ and I said that’s fine. I then asked about my drink and he said “she’s working on it.” And turned away from me to talk to a different girl who had just walked in. As they were chatting and laughing and the girl making drinks (not mine tho) continued to ignore me I finally saw a cup with my name on it sitting over by the blender which had a blended drink in it. I had to interrupt the guy baristas convo with his friend to say “I’m pretty sure my drink is sitting over there in that blender…can you please just pour it in the cup for me cuz I’m gonna be late to work?” He rolled his eyes, poured my melted Frappuccino into the cup, spilling it down the side, and rudely slid it across the counter to me, before turning back around to talk to his friend. The worst part is….i had added a $1 tip into my mobile order. I have never been to a Starbucks with such poor customer service. I’ve had several other incidents where my drinks have been messed up, I won’t get an item I ordered, I’ve had to wait for an exorbitant amount of time for something simple….its bad. I really wish there were more places to get food and coffee during evening hours in this little town because I would gladly start going somewhere else if it...
Read moreAs a former partner I try to be understanding when I can see they are busy, as was the case today, but whatever new routing they are doing is terrible. My cold bar beverage (frappuccino) came out 10 minutes before my espresso bar beverage (iced espresso) causing the frappuccino base to separate and the drink to melt. I mobile ordered and did not bring in my entire party so while I waited for my drink, my husband's drink just sat their melting. Please route your stickers for mobile orders to a single printer so my drinks don't get split apart. Thankfully my husband didn't mind his drink being a bit melted but my espresso shots were very bitter and that is not because I got a quad shot, it's probably from my shots "dying" but I couldn't see the shots being pulled so I cant be certain. Bring back the 10 second standard for shots, the star on the machine doesn't mean a thing if you just let the shot sit. There was someone managing all orders being completed and she was friendly and engaging but I heard her tell multiple people they were waiting on another drink in their orders due to "hot bar" being backed up. I didn't have my drink remade since it took 20 minutes to get it in the first place and did not want to slow them down further, but I do know I could have done that, I just wish they upheld their standards as I know my drink can taste delicious. I even get restretto shots to reduce the acidic taste in the shot but even with this, it just was not very good. I also thought all cups were supposed to be written on, but I did not see this standard being done here and my drinks had no writing on them unless the "V" is supposed to be a heart...
Read moreWe ordered through the app ahead of time to pick up through drive up services. Little to find out our order wasn’t going to be ready and not only waited 30min line but had to wait an additional 20min for food and coffee. I get busy but this was the longest I have ever waited at a Starbucks to only have my drink taste like burnt coffee. It was nasty to be honest and had to stop at a gas station to buy a Red Bull. Now the food was good except the burrito I ordered 50min prior was cold and the potato’s weren’t cooked all the way. Staff was amazing and was very polite and they are definitely trying. This place needs to be over staffed not understaffed because mistakes will continue to happen. Bathrooms were dirty when I went, people upset standing around waiting for their coffee and like I said it’s not the staffs fault it’s who ever staffs needs...
