Chelan Riverwalk Park — Attraction in Chelan

Riverwalk Park is situated along the both shores of Lake Chelan and is known for its’ one-mile scenic river loop trail. This is very beautiful paved path that gives you an opportunity to have a pleasant walk. Riverwalk Park is a place where tourists can launch a boat and enjoy the boat ride. 12-acre waterfront park offering picnic areas & shelters, plus a boat launch, trail & green space. Downtown’s Riverwalk Park offers a boardwalk 1-mile scenic loop that traverses the lake shore between the town’s two bridges that span the Chelan River. The walk is perfect for early morning runs or family ambles. There’s also a pavilion, grassy play space, and picnic shelter. On Thursday evenings, stroll the Chelan Evening Farmers Market in the park for fresh peaches, cherries, apples and artisan goods from local vendors while you listen to local performers. Easy walk with an elegant view. Lots of shade along the way. Dog friendly with plenty of garbage cans to deposited nature or water bottles into. Lots of opportunities to stop at restaurants, bars, winery's, brewery's, pizza, real estate, and my favorite coffee shops just off the beating path. Bicycles are even welcome. There is also fantastic ice cream shop along your way in case your diabetic and need an extra pep in your step along the way. Please go there and enjoy the wildlife you never know what you're going to see. From fish, duck and if your lucky a gold eagle like I got to enjoy 5 minutes after I saw a bald eagle. Bet you kids can't catch a squirrel. Long time local and I love it....

ABSOLUTELY LOVE RIVERWALK PARK!

I have grown up with this park! Not just around the park,. But WITH IT.

I've seen it grow from just a "trail" around the "river. Where many fond memories of my youth were made.

Like the fort my little brother and I made, swimming ALL the way across the river & back.. kool-aid stands... Running the mile for school.....or walking it in my case it....

It grew with us..... The trails have grown. With more sitting areas along the path.

A swimming platform was a new sight this summer.

an ampatheatre also calls the River Walk Park "home."
