Lu's Kitchen — Restaurant in Chelmsford

I really enjoy Lu’s Kitchen. My family and I have been coming here for years pre-Covid especially during Covid. I have watched the children that would take our orders. Grow up to be beautiful young ladies. I always enjoyed how they help with the family business and their professionalism, but I have to say, I do miss the mom and Pop Chinese restaurants that remembered your name or have some sense of loyalty and humbleness towards their regular customers who has supported them throughout the years., nope not them. I don’t recall them ever remembering anything about us and we pretty much ordered the same things and are pretty consistent throughout the years ,They don’t acknowledge you as their loyal customers in anyway whether birthdays or just sneaking a little surprise to say thank you and your order nothing it’s not about getting something free. I guess I’m just from the generation of Hey, thank you for supporting Us ever on your birthday anything nothing that does bother me a lot because God knows my family and I friends have spent lots of money and supported Lu’s Kitcchen throughout the years, I just wish they were a little bit warmer and showed some gratitude towards their regular customers of every shade of color . This is a great place to come and get some good Chinese food the professionalism, the cleanliness you will definitely fine here at Lu’s Kitchen. I just wish they could do a little bit better when it comes to the customers who have supported them for years, especially the location in there are multiple multiple restaurants that we could go to, but we...

Horrible experience. First when I called to place an order they didn’t even properly pick up. Theres a child whispering. I had to say hello and confirm if it’s the restaurant. I repeated my order and had my husband listen incase I ordered incorrectly. She said on the phone 15-20 minute wait. I waited 50 minutes and got the wrong order. I ordered shrimp lo mein they gave me chicken. When I went back inside they had the audacity to charge me more for their mistake. Not considering how long I waited and the additional wait to get the correct order. On top of that they didn’t have enough string beans for my string beans in garlic sauce. They added another vegetable. Supper inconvenient. Inconsiderate they want you to wait and charge you extra for their mistakes and short supply. Horrible customer service....

I didn't even order any food here...its my first time to this place.. and I had some questions.. At the counter was a little girl taking my orders .she didn't know what she was doing.. every question I asked. She had to go an adult to get an answer .. just seem really unprofessional.. and the prices are really expensive .. I'm use to ordering Chinese food with the rice included..but here they charge for rice separately.., also I was getting a nasty look from one the cooks in the back.. maybe he wasn't happy because I had some questions before I made my order.. terrible customer service.
