So I went online as I just moved into a new area and was craving pizza. The food looked appealing and had great reviews. I called and placed an order and was informed it would take 30 minutes for my food to get here, I was extremely happy. 30 minutes later the driver tells me he’s downstairs. I go down the stairs he is not there. He was at a completely different address. After I carefully provided my address to the store location in waiting I am told that my order is not coming because they don’t deliver to my address most other places were closed. I asked if the driver could drop it off last and was told no because of a bridge. I was informed he could when I asked how long it would take to refund my money I was given two different answers all I wanted was a slice of pizza and now the ordeal has left me very disappointed with the service you’re not getting what I paid for. Read moreFood itself is good. Delivery is fast. I had to give it this rate due to an incident with my credit card. I was assured I would not be charged twice due to an issue with their system. I was still charged twice and have yet to be refunded and it also threw that account into a negative balance...so I basically paid 60 dollars for a small pepperoni pizza and a chicken finger plate. Worse part was I got charged 2 different amounts for the same items within minutes of each other. This happened almost a week ago. Food great, service disappointing in this particular experience
Update: Just called John’s to speak with a manager about the incident. His first response was I don’t soeak spanish (mind you I was speaking perfect English). Ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza asked for extra sauce nothing to complex yet I didn’t receive the extra sauce and still got charged $14.52 which is okay but what really threw me off was when the driver came to deliver he rudely asked for a tip after I already wrote a tip on the slip. Mind you this is just for a small pizza delivery. Last time I checked when I worked as a delivery driver, it’s rude to ask for a tip. If a customer wants to tip they will kindly due so other than that don’t make customers feel pressured to tip. I still gave a $5 tip.
