Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

I recently visited Insomnia Cookies and wanted to share my experience. When I placed my order in person, the lady who took it seemed very confused and had me repeat it four times. I ordered five cookies: four peanut butter and one macadamia nut. She informed me that the cookies were freshly baked and too soft to be packaged immediately, which was fine with me.

However, there were multiple issues with the order process. After a delay, a box was handed to another lady, who returned two minutes later stating it wasn’t her order. The same lady who initially took my order opened the box and tried to hand it to me. I declined, asking for fresh cookies. She went to the back and returned with the same box of cookies. Upon inspecting the box, I found there were only three peanut butter cookies instead of the four I ordered. The gentleman working there informed me that these were the last three cookies from the previous batch and that the new ones were too soft to be packaged.

Additionally, when I asked for my receipt, I was told it had been thrown away. While the atmosphere of the store is nice and inviting, the staff clearly needs more training to handle orders efficiently and accurately. This experience was disappointing, and I hope improvements are made to ensure better customer service...

This is not really about the food cause I never had it. I was at Cherry Hill location because I was next-door for an appointment soon as I got done my appointment at 11 o’clock I walked over and tried to open the door lights off. Employee said 10 more minutes through the glass and this was literally at 11 o’clock on the dot. So I waited in my car for 15 minutes got out check the door again still locked and then said another five minutes and another customer said the same thing so this place opens at 11 and here it’s 11:20. Did you want me to wait another five minutes if that’s the case they should adjust your hours to 1130 or noon, so I just left not waiting another 5 more minutes when I waited till 11:20am when you...

We are dedicated insomnia cookie fans, we normally go all the way to Philly for them. We were excited find one closer to us, we preordered which didn’t matter. Still had to stand in the line, the staff gave no directions on pickup. People complain about customer services in Philly but at least they acknowledge you in the Philly locations when you ask about orders! Prolly just going to stick to the Philly locations.
