I called yesterday at 7:36pm after looking around on google for what was still open locally. Some girl picks up and asks “How can I help you?” I told her I’d like to place an order for pickup her response was “oh, I have to see if the slicer is still open.”
I worked in restaurants my entire life. I completely understand the frustration of people coming in to an establishment with 15 minutes to go or when you’re getting to that last call mark.
Your google listing claims that you’re open until 8pm. I know it was Sunday towards the end of your day. I’d completely understand if I called at 7:50, really I’d probably understand better if you didn’t answer the phone at all. There’s even an option to place the order online without needing to have that phone call.
I just don’t know, this type of response in addition to numerous other bad reviews particularly about the counter service or the one who several reviews are written about, it all just paints a bad picture to me.
You guys don’t want my business after 7:30 on a Sunday? Ok, noted. I’ll call Jersey Mike’s Next time.
Your advertising being open until 8, if you don’t want to make money after 7:30 change your hours. Don’t make me feel like if I submit an online order someone is going to spit in my food.
I can’t understand how the customer pays the price for this negligence. You act like I walked in with a family of 6 at 7:57 requesting to be sat at Applebees….who probably would sit the family of 6.
Do better. Hire better. Provide better.
People want to give you their money and your location is bringing bad reputation to the...
Read moreI’m a huge primos junkie. Check my rewards account and you’ll understand. One thing I hate about chains is inconsistency amongst them. You should get the same quality of food no matter the location. I’ve told myself time and time again that I won’t come back here but what can I say I’m optimistic. The food here is simply never consistent. It’s really a shame because I adore Primos and this is the location that is closest to my home. It’s somewhat frustrating to have to drive the whole way on the other side of town and go to marlton just because they are the well oiled machine that they are. I won’t make this mistake again. The last straw for me was walking in and the girl at the service counter is stuffing her face with what looked like cheese cubes, and even worse it appeared that she was sticking the food into her mouth the entire way and closing her lips around her fingers before pulling them back out. Needless to say she did not wash her hands before packing up my food and sending me on my way. Never again with this location. I’m even sorry to have to write this but it feels necessary to send this experience up the chain to management and ownership….i’d want to know if this was...
Read moreThe food is fantastic, but the front counter help is terrible. All of the ladies that work the front counter are not nice. I've been going to this Cherry Hill location for 2 straight years and the experience is always the same.
They ask what I want in a mock respectful way, and then after the order is given they will interrupt you to ask what customization you want on your sandwich. The way it's asked is both not nice, and is feigning respect.
After the order is taken and you pay, you just stand until your type of order is called out (not your name, order number etc) so for instance if you ordered a Italian Hoagie, you have to listen for the counter help (or sometimes the rude cooks) to say Itlaian Hoagie.
The trouble with this is multiple people can have the same sandwich.
The most amazing part of what happens next is the lady that took your order 5 minutes earlier will pretend to not remember who you are in relationship to the sandwich she is holding in her hand. This in spite of the fact that there is never typically more then 3 customers in there waiting at the same time.
So I've had the last Sharp Itlaian Hoagie. I'm tired of the...
