Gourmet Gang — Restaurant in Chesapeake

If I could give a zero rating I would. I am not usually one to complain but I am very upset. I ordered online for the Chesapeake store. I waited for my order to receive a phone call stating that the delivery fee is higher due to my area, although I chosen the correct one and my payment was already processed. I asked the store manager if I have a refund will it show on my account right away and she stated yes. Then right after says it will take 2 days for it to come back into my account. I am currently working from someone’s home and this was my only meal for today, I don’t have a vehicle and even if I did I can’t leave the Client to go get food. Now not only was I not refunded the money right away so that I can get something else to eat but they will not deliver the food to me either. Today was will not get to eat because of their mistake and when I spoke to Jera in corporate office I was told there is nothing they can do. Thank you gourmet Gang for going hungry all day today!!!!...

Quality of food has significantly gone down. I used to always bring my daughter here to get the Turkey & Provolone Sub with fruit on the side. I would request for the sub to be warmed up in addition to toasted so the meet would be warm. The last two times I have visited, the sub was a mess! The meat is clumpy and shredded and never warm even though I asked. The glob a ton of cheese on and it's absolutely disgusting. The sandwich looks like a two year old put it together. The side of fruit we paid for this last time had two grapes, and melon pieces.. What happened to the strawberries and other fruit items. They are going down hill fast...Nothing special at all about this place anymore! We threw the gross sandwich away. Don't waste your time or hard earned money as the prices have...

I love Gourmet Gang. Great food and the best chef salad. Great Service, Friendly and fast. Also I went to GG on Christmas eve and placed an order. I informed the lady that took my order that I was going to another business to pick up a preorder. Bless her, GG was allowed to close early. When I wasn't back to pick up my order she walked to where I was and had been waiting for an hour to let me know that she was closing so I could get my food. She could have closed and left but she didn't. She was kind enough to look out for me and helped me to get my order to my truck. There are still some kind people in this world.
