Great Wall Chinese Food — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I’ve never written a review, but I depend on them a lot when ordering food, so here you go...I ordered chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, pepper steak and onions and garlic chicken. The fried rice and the sesame chicken were just okay. The fried rice had a deep brown color to it, like a bottle of soy sauce was poured into it.The garlic chicken and pepper steak had a weird taste and texture. The meat also looked pale and the the sauce that it was cooked in seemed to just settle underneath the meat. I wish I would have taken pictures before tossing it in the trash. The food was slapping! I had the honey wings and fried rice and my partner had the beef and broccoli. This was our first time at this Chinese restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised. My honey wings were perfect... The wings were cooked thoroughly, they were sweet, well sauced, and crunchy!! My partner basically inhaled his dish, he said it had been a long time since he enjoyed that dish and it was spot on!!! I would definitely recommend this...

This has got to be the worst food I can't even call it Chinese food it was that bad I got shrimp egg phoo yung an it smelled like old shrimp, the gravy was just gross also got house mei fun no taste made with the wrong noodles also got chicken terriaki it was over cooked an crab ragoon over cooked.
