I had a coupon for 72 free points from T-Mobile, as part of their T-Mobile Tuesdays program. After redeeming the code in the Jersey Mikes app, the app would not load the points. But when I tried to redeem the code again, I couldn’t because I’d get an error message saying the code was already redeemed. I showed this to the cashier, as well as who I believe was the manager. I could tell she (the supposed manager) was stressed because they were pretty busy. But as a customer I felt ignored and disregarded. There was an error with their system (not T-Mobile’s) because it was Jersey Mike’s app that wasn’t loading the points. I showed the manager proof that I had a valid coupon, the app just wouldn’t accept it. She said there’s nothing they can do, and said to take it up with T-Mobile. This was after they already made the sandwich and it was holding up the line. I took it upon myself to step to the side, figure it out with T-Mobile, so that the line could continue moving. I used to work in fast food, and understand the stress/pressure to do what you’re told/get food out quick. But unfortunately, the customer was not prioritized in this situation and I had to give back my already made sandwich. At the end of the day, it’s just a sandwich, but it speaks a lot to how Jersey Mikes treats their customers. To top it all off, my spouse’s account worked and they got their free sub (so I left with one out of two subs). This shows this wasn’t user error ( because I set up both accounts). I got in the car and opened up the sub when I was home. They gave me the wrong sandwich. I ordered the buffalo chicken and they gave me a Philly cheesesteak. Super...
Read moreI always go to Jersey Mike's for right before the college football games kickoff. I get the famous #13, the Original Italian.
Everything was fine up until I got to the register. The sandwich was made clean and fresh as always. The lady at the register sneezes four times takes my payment and rolls my sandwich with THE SAME GLOVES SHES SNEEZES IN!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! However, to not cause a scene and is blamed for calling out someone's behavior. I allowed the individual to wrap and roll my GIANT italian sub then un-roll it because it was falling out of the bag, then roll it up again. I took the bagged sandwiched and threw it straight in the trash. I Don't know if they saw me or not; really don't care either way. $19 bucks is not worth the drama, the potential illness, or just the nasty taste of sneeze droplets or even a potential booger that might be on that sandwich.
All of my negative comments are reflective of just this single experience at this singular location.
I proceeded to go to wingstop instead today and will go to the Greenbrier location...
Read moreI’m giving 2 stars overall. We came in on a Saturday (4/20) around 1:30. There was one customer ahead of us, and when we placed our order they started prioritizing phone orders, which generally isn’t something we get frustrated by. However, there was a gentleman working (the only male on staff at the time) and I think he got confused by the priority of phone orders vs in house. There was a female employee cutting deli meat who seemed to be the lead at the time and she was incredibly rude to her male coworker for making a mistake and doing an in house order first. She snapped at him in the presence of other customers not once but twice and I could sense his feeling of embarrassment. As a possible team lead in particular she should have better management skills and better customer service skills. There is a better way to TRAIN an employee or help in the midst of a mixup, and coworkers should always be spoken to respectfully. She should not be a...
