KRAVE Juice & Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I had just found this shop some weeks ago and have been going in three to four times a week! The girls behind the counter are really giving it their all and working hard. However, unfortunately they always seem very dismissive and have a bad attitude.

The past couple of times I went there one of the girls doesn’t ask me what I want and just assume that I’m getting the same order and already rings it up and starts walking away. Today we greeted each other and then she put in my order without asking me again, before you know it the screen was already ready for me to insert my card. I politely asked my server “what if I was going to get something different” She responded “Then that would’ve sucked for you” turned around and walked away dismissively. This was so rude When my food was ready she was being nice so maybe she was just having a bad day but it was unprofessional and extremely immature. I can understand not having the energy to be super cheerful but to go out of your way to say rude comments to the customers will make for a tense environment.

I don't know if they think we’re in the same age group or what but I’m 32 and this girl was treating me like I was an annoying little sister. Not trying to be funny but the customer service is awful. Which is a shame because the quality of the food is very great. I have no complaint...

Tropical smoothie cafe? Nah, Krave. Anyways, my first impressions were it was better than what I was expecting, and the smoothies were amazing, and worth their price. The cafe was very clean. And the service was outstandingly quick, unlike some other places where it takes 10 minutes when only 2 people are in there… I also should mention the quality of the smoothies are amazing. There aren’t many food options though, or there just may be anything I don’t like, so -1 star. Besides the lack of food options, this place is amazing. Oh, I can’t forget how they close early, so sometimes you don’t have the chance to experience their smoothies, but I guess there has to be reason behind why they close this early. I will definitely come back if I can...

I absolutely LOVE Krave. And I’m SO happy we have a black owned, healthy spot in the area!! Their customer service is amazing and it’s always spotless! The Purple Rain is my favorite and I like that they use frozen ingredients!! Smoothies can get a little pricey but you pay for quality. I also love the grilled chicken salads and the Mocha Cold Brew, but they didn’t have either last time I visited ☹️

Definitely stop at Krave if you’re in the area and want a healthier option. They also have a rewards system which is good. It can feel like it takes forever to get enough points to use but it’s a small business so it’s understandable! Overall 10/10 — would for...
