Pro-Tip: The menu is comprehensive! If you're indecisive, I recommend checking it out online beforehand to get an idea of what you want. It’s a great place to go if you want to break out of a pepperoni rut and try something new.
We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday while out and about, and Pizza Twist delivered a fantastic and unique experience. It wasn't overly busy, and while we waited for our order (about 20 minutes, as everything is made fresh), the mouth-watering aroma of Indian spices from a nearby table let us know we were in for a treat. Their concept of fusing these flavors with classic pizza is brilliant.
To get a good sample, we ordered a few small pizzas: a standard Cheese for one kid, an "All Meat" for the carnivore, and the Tandoori Chicken pizza for the more adventurous eaters. While the classic options were solid, the specialty "twist" pizzas are the real stars. The Tandoori Chicken pizza was perfectly balanced; it hit all those rich tandoori notes I love without being overpowering or feeling out of place on a pizza. The value was also excellent, with very reasonable prices for such creative, quality food.
Who for? This place is perfect for adventurous foodies who love both Indian and Italian cuisine. It's also a great, affordable option for families, as they have classic choices for picky eaters alongside their more creative specialty pies. We'll...
Read moreWings were good, but very small, overpriced at $10.99 for 6. Caesar salad was made with spring mix vs romaine and had shaker (grated) parm with tiny croutons. The pictures on their brochure of their pizzas are misleading - either that or they ran out of ingredients. The pictures on the brochure of their signature pizzas show pizzas piled high with vegetables and the like. They also offer a 'build your own' pizza with $2 each added topping. We ordered a medium build your own with tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and spinach. We expected the toppings to be of the same amount shown in the pictures, however that was not the case. We couldn't see or taste any garlic at all, couldn't taste them, but saw 2 mushroom slices, a tiny bit of cut up spinach and about maybe 8-10 small dice of tomato. It was like barely any toppings on it. The thin crust was well done, which we would think would be crispy, but it wasn't. It was so cold in the place, the pizza cooled off significantly before we took the first bite. There was no ice for drinks, which are bottled. On the plus side, Our food was brought out as it was ready. The person who took our order was nice and gave us a discount (I think it was 25%) as first time eating there. Even with the discount, our bill was around to $43. We were looking for a great thin crust pizza. Sadly, we will not...
Read moreThis was my family and my first time to Pizzatwist!! We throughly enjoyed it. We ordered a Med Butter Chicken pizza, wings and the spicy lamb bread! Man it was delicious 😋. The Butter chicken pizza was incredibly yummy. The presentation and make of the pizza was superb. It wasn't just thrown together, everything was evenly placed throughout. The wings were good, just on the tiny side. The spicy lamb bread definitely had kick. I don't do a whole lot of spice, my husband definitely does more than I do. He was eating it and said it has some kick, I was over halfway through my slice...I laughed at him and called him a pansie 😂😂 joke was on me, that last bite made tears roll down my face but it was tasty. I won't be eating anymore of the spicy lamb bread BUT if you like spice GET IT! I say all this to say, GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY.
