I placed an order about a week or 2 ago and it took about 2 hours for it to arrive. A few days later I received a coupon in the mail for a free cheese pizza because of the time it took for me to receive the pizza. I went online to order it and tried to put the promo code in 7 times and it never worked. I called the stores number listed on the coupon and they placed me on hold for 5 minutes before someone answered and said they didn't know how coupon codes for only online orders worked and gave me a new number to call. After a robot answered and waiting for 10 more minutes a man with a heavy accent answered and asked me a few questions. He told me the coupon code was valid and verified that is was the correct store. He then asked if I could e-mail him a picture of the coupon and after I did 3 times he said he wasn't receiving them and that he would file a report to the store's General Manager and that I would hear a response from him within 48 hours. I hung up on the man and just went straight to Dominos who coincidentally offered me a free 2-topping pizza after I placed my order if I ordered again in the next week. So thanks Papa Johns for getting me a free...
Read moreMy boyfriend & I thought we'd try something other than our usual Dominoes pizza. We ordered from this Papa John's 3 times within a month and were disappointed every time. And this 3rd time, really did it. The 1st time, we ordered the veggie mozzarella pizza with added jalapeños. Got delivered to the house & NO JALAPEÑOS. The 2nd time we paid for the zesty sauce but was given classic marinara instead. But this last time was the worst. First, THEY DIDNT EVEN CUT THE PIZZA!!!! They also failed to add a pepperoncini as well as a garlic sauce which is included (it even says that on the side of the pizza box)...and my bf got bbq boneless wings but the bbq was severely lacking & looked no where close to what was advertised online....we paid $40 for what??? Y'all. Save your money & go to another Papa John's because this...
Read moreVery disappointed with service. I am new to the Chesapeake area and decided to try the Papa John's on my way home from work. I noted a family special when I entered the store for two large pizzas, one two topping and one specialty for $23.00. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a second with mushrooms and green peppers. When the total including a tip came to $42.80 I questioned about the family special. The sales clerk informed me that the second pizza did not fit the specialty pizza requirement; I had to choose from one of the predetermined selections. I felt create your own specialty pizza should be sufficient. So in the end I paid $10.00 more AND included a tip for less product. Poor business practice!!! I will be finding another pizza place for my family...
