Left feeling unappreciated. I ordered the salad bar, I wanted the shrimp add-on. The server informed me that the shrimp was served cold. I informed her that I was good, no thank you, on the cold shrimp. She the suggested skewers. I said o.k, and we continued to finish ordering... My wife ordered a well done burger. So I watched the game on tv at the bar and conversed for about 10 minutes before getting my salad, i was trying to time the arrival of the shrimp skewers. I had already finished my salad, the wife's well done burger had arrived, and was halfway consumed when I asked about my skewers. The server said: It's an add-on so they don't prepare those at the same time as main course. 'It's the computer, the system doesn't get it right' Then the 'It's coming up right now' line was thrown out there before going to the back. When she returned with: An unapologetic: its on the grill now. I pointed out to the server: my wife's burger takes much longer to cook, and thats half eaten and I have eaten my salad. Her response: A snotty retort 'thats why you should have gotten the cold shrimp' Once again, I didn't ask, she suggested skewers. The skewers arrived well after we finished eating. She took the bill to the manager, (once again I didnt ask for any type of retribution either), but the bill came back the exact same way it left: with a full charge. No compensation, no apology for the b.s., no gratitude. Its only a skewer but its the customer service here that gets the epic fail. It's ONLY 20 other restaurants within a 1 mile radius, so if I'm paying, at least I have the option of not being blatantly disregarded (lied to). ...
Read moreSo I really didn't want to post this because I love this place and the people here but they did me wrong this past trip. First last week I ordered 2 platters to go that was supposed to include chips and dip as well as other items. When I got to my destination I noticed that everything was there except the spinach artichoke dip. I then called said I would be in next week and if i could I get chips and dip when I come next for free since it was left out. They said it would be ok. I got there today and reminded the server about the week prior and said if I could get the dip again to go and chips she said they weren't sure if they would be able to get it for free but would ask the manager then after she came back at the end of the meal she asked if I wanted the sampler platters on 1 check or not. I said I didn't want the whole platter just the stuff that was left out last week. She hurried to the back to seemingly cancel the order and later brought back 1 chips and dip container out. I had gotten the chips the week prior not the dip, so I know how many chips come in the platter. She gave me 1 order worth of chips and dip and when I asked she said it was 2 orders put in 1 container. I don't like it when people try to get over on me or lie on me. Read moreI've been to this location 3 times, the 3rd will be my last. The first time was good, the second time i was here, My wife, son , and I all ordered the same sandwich. My wife and sons came fine, but my grilled chicken was as dry as the Sahara desert. I sent it back and when the replacement came out, it was not cooked all the way through. I decided it safer to not eat there that night. The manager comped me a salad bar and assured me he would address the issue and hoped we would return. Third time I went, hoping for a better experience, I ordered a burger, cooked medium. it came to the table cooked like a hockey puck, and the lettuce on the burger was as brown as fall leaves in Vermont. My son had the same burger, his was cooked correctly and his had fresh lettuce on it. Obvious to me that the short order cook used the last of one lettuce on mine and new on his, but the manager told me that it was not bad lettuce but he would replace it. I was taken back that he didn't even address the over cooked part and also that the quality was not up to standard for the fixings on the burger. I decided not to eat but he refused to remove the price from the bill at first saying he could replace it but I had to pay for it because I ordered it.
