I ordered a sandwich online and when I went to get it in the store they said that I’d didn’t go through it was an online issue, so when I went to pull up the app they were correct it wasn’t working I couldn’t access the order, but I had clearly been charged for the sandwich so I pulled up proof to show that I had not only been charged for the sandwich but that they were holding double the amount in my card in an additional authorization, and they said they believed me but there was nothing that they could do about it except wait for it to go through or I could tell them the order and they would make the sandwich. Halfway through making the sandwich another 2 people came in with the same issue and they stopped making the sandwich and said that I would need to pay for it because it was clearly and issue with their online system. They said they were sorry but there was nothing to be done and that their “big boss man” had said that the charges would be refunded and back onto the card later that day. I even asked what I was supposed to do if that wasn’t the case since I didn’t have a receipt or a sandwich to show for my purchase and they said to come back the next day and they would make sure the money was refunded. Flash forward to the next day and the charges are still there: I called the store and whoever answered was super rude and when I explained the issue she told me to “dispute it with my bank.” So apparently I am responsible for correcting...
Read moreFriendly man made my sandwiches. Problem is he had no idea about the wraps on the menu. Ordered a Chipotle Southwest Steak and Cheese Wrap for a friend. I have no idea about the wraps, which have a bit of specificity on the ingredients. Guy starts with a green tortilla, He uses the correct warmed steak meat, but then asks about the cheese we want--having no clue, I just pick a sliced sandwich cheese then we move to condiments. I ask what is supposed to go on it--He says anything you want, so added lettuce, tomato, olives. Doesn't ask about sauce--nothing on it. Here's what the menu says: Saddle up with this delicious tomato basil wrap jam-packed with a double portion of steak and topped with your favorite Tex-Mex flavors like Monterey cheddar, guacamole, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, green peppers and Chipotle Southwest sauce. Friend says they use a shredded cheese blend for this wrap and a red tortilla. Supposed to have guac, southwest sauce , guess the other things could be customized. ...
Read moreDisappointed. This experience will not stop me from visiting Subway. I love Subway sandwiches. But I will go out of my way to visit a different location. I ordered a chop salad on Father's Day no lettuce only spinach. They were out of spinach and made it with lettuce. It was an online order no one called me to let me know it was being changed. My wife picked it up for me so she didn't know. At the very least don't make the meal until the person shows up to get it, at which point you can then mention the substitution of lettuce. Also don't make me feel uncomfortable when I call to get a correction made. Also when I get there to pick it up assuming it will already be made since the person took the order again ask me like a game of 20 questions, "What's on the sandwich?" That implies it is made and ready, maybe you are just checking it's the right person. Try some proper english and ask, "What would you like on the sandwich?" Maybe add a sir for even friendlier...
